Vineyard Cottage ONE HOUR from Budapest

Delightful cottage nestled on a privately owned vineyard estate (Catherine is a direct descendant of Charles Dickens). The Eco cottage is part of a small boutique retreat on the south-facing slopes of the Vértes Hills. The village of Csákberény is an hour's drive or a little longer by bus from Budapest and 2.5hrs from Vienna. Set in the heart of the Móri wine region this tranquil retreat offers breathtaking views, forest walks and a peaceful atmosphere. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Designed in the spirit of slow living, our guesthouse sits on the hillside of the Vértes Mountains, within walking distance of Csókakő Castle. The dog- and child-friendly house accommodates up to 2+2 guests and features three terraces on a spacious, forest-edge plot with panoramic views. Optional add-on services (local breakfast basket, wooden hot tub) are available upon request. The nearby Mór Wine Region offers wine tastings, hiking, and seasonal programs year-round.

At the top of our farm, right next to the forest and the horses' pasture, is our Guesthouse, dreamed up with the atmosphere of rural peasant homes. Beautiful panorama from the geranium porch, grazing horses, huge garden, tranquility, peace. The house has two floors, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms with a total of 11 beds. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the Majorság also has the most famous restaurant in the area, the Horváth Garden & Restaurant.

We are waiting for you in Zebegény above the Danube Bend with the most wonderful panorama in all seasons. We are only 1 hour from Budapest, so it is a perfect choice to come to us spontaneously.
