Holiday rentals with beach access in Kommetjie

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

This place exceeded my expectations. The place is more spacious and beautiful in person. The host has thought of every little thing that you would need. It felt like home and the place is surrounded by beautiful beaches and has a farm about 5 minutes away. Would love to return soon.

I really really enjoyed my stay. It was extremely peaceful and the views were really refreshing and beautiful. The hosts were extra gracious and responded very fast. The mall around was also convenient to get food, drinks and supplies. I would definitely book it over and over again. 1000/10 I promise you.

Perfect spot in the heart of Seapoint. Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants and the awesome waterfront walk. The apartment was clean and well thought out. It had everything I needed. Plus as a female travelling alone I felt very safe in the space and the building. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Philipp’s place was fantastic. From the moment we booked, we could tell Philipp was an exceptional host. His communication and care were outstanding. When we arrived, he welcomed us personally, helped with our bags, and gave us a mini tour along with much-appreciated coffee recommendations. One detail I especially loved was the beautiful handbook he’s put together with thoughtful restaurant recommendations and personal notes. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much care he puts into creating a wonderful experience for his guests. Once we settled in, I have to say: impressed is an understatement. I can be quite particular, and this was truly an excellent stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful complimentary touches throughout. We just left Cape Town and our stay at Gareth’s beautiful home overlooking the beach below. It was even better than the photos! We woke to an amazing view of the sun rise each morning! The beds are super comfy and the rooms bright and airy during the day. Such an incredible experience. We loved being south of downtown Cape Town with easier access to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. We could have enjoyed spending an entire week soaking it all in. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting. It was also super safe secluded on the hillside with a secure garage and gated pathway to the home and off the beaten path.

Really enjoyed the stay in Glen Beach. Would recommend to all.

What a wonderful and beautiful stay. As a mid-week breakaway from daily routine, this was the perfect place to work remotely (with reliable, fast Wifi), whilst also being able to relax and regenerate (the views, location, relaxed atmosphere). Amazing house in a very quiet area of Noordhoek. Everything is as described and even better. Lots of attention to details like qualitative beds, linen, toiletries and a super equipped kitchen. Candy’s place is everything you need and more to have a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing vacation. Wake up with stunning views in the morning, relax in a peaceful courtyard with a pool, enjoy a relaxing time reading one of the many interesting books available on the shelves in a happy, friendly decorated interior and a large family size table to enjoy a meal. The location is very clean, safe, secure and comfortably within reach of many gorgeous attractions, museums and Cape Town international airport. Candy’s place is a must on your next visit to Cape Town.

Best place we have stayed in Scarborough. Very peacefull. Walking distance to the Hub. Stunning walking trail up the mountain behind (Baskloof trail). The beds are extremely comfortable. Braaipit so well positioned that we could braai every evening even with a strong south easterly wind. We will be back…

This was our second stay at Henning’s place and we just cannot get enough. It’s such an amazing serene getaway in the most stunning location and beautiful home. We had a wonderful bday weekend playing games, cooking food and the fireplace was a great accompaniment with the cold weather. The home has such an incredible view of the ocean and can be seen from almost anywhere. Truly a special stay one of a kind stay. Hazel is always so friendly and hospitable. Thank you Henning and Hazel, we will surely be back.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed Bruce’s place a lot. Perfect for a small family. Beautiful views and sunset! It’s a short but relatively steep walk down to camps bay (especially with children) but that’s wasn’t a problem for us. Easy access with car or Ubers (available at all times with no waiting time). Bruce was great to communicate with. Would recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks!

Stayed at Leo’s place for 4 nights. Timon was assisting us throughout. Very helpful. Always replied to our any questions at any time. We weren’t able to operate the heater, so he came down specially to show us and made a video also got an extra electric heater if we still can’t operate the manual one. Loved the place. It’s just perfect for 2 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay with gorgeous views and near to all the restaurants and supermarkets We had a great time :)

The house was lovely and spacious with everyhting we needed. There were high quality finishings which gave us a 5 star experience. Aubrey and Kerry were fantastic hosts. We didn't go to the beach much due to the weather but we had lots of scenic walks in the area. We would definitely go back and stay there again!

Fantastic views. Comfortable bedrooms and great ablutions. Close to many restaurants and for sports mad world class promenade to run awesome swimming pool to train and great cycling routes. Happy space for the fat triathletes and people who love sea sunsets

I couldn’t have asked for a better location, it was conveniently close to safe walking areas, shops, a beautiful park & restaurants yet was in a relatively quiet road. The apartment is beautifully appointed with absolutely everything you need, especially in the kitchen. It’s light & airy with stunning views. You feel secure & totally at ease there. Very obliging staff, in all, everything to recommend it.

What a great spot with easy access to the beach or pools. In winter, you have the ever changing sea views but due to the recessed position less noise. It was a relaxing sanctuary after our work days and Liz was an attentive hostess, arranging an easier parking for our large car … For those who struggle with mobility there are steps to the well appointed unit.

I had the most incredible stay! The apartment is beautifully styled, modern, super clean, and the XL bed is so comfortable. But what truly stood out was the sunset view, even in the middle of winter. Watching the sun dip below the ocean from the balcony, with the sky turning shades of pink and purple, was pure magic and a highlight of our stay. Tanya was so responsive, and made check-in and out a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, it’s the perfect Cape Town escape. I’ll definitely be back!
