Beachfront holiday rentals in Kootenay Boundary

Camped in the woods just several feet from the river, the sound of it lulling me to sleep; beautiful setting. Will be around again next week on the return part of my journey.

What a great home away from home. This was our first time staying on a trailer so we didn’t know what to expect. What a wonderful place, the creek , the fire pit … kids loved it and we had a great time to disconnect and yet feel super comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Lots of cute little towns nearby to check and explore, wish we had planned for some extra time to explore.

Awesome cabin right on Jewel lake. We rented it for a couple days to spend time ice fishing and visiting with near by grand-parents. Would definitely recommend! Exactly what we needed. Thank you Al.

This property is amazing if you like lake properties! Byran and Lisa were great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed, including parking for the boat trailer once the boat was in the water. The property is great if you want to just be private and spend quite time or if you want to entertain and have multiple people there. Having so many places to relax and enjoy was also fantastic, such as the covered patio, lounging chairs with an umbrella, firepit by the beach, the beach itself and the dock. The dock was perfect for our high end surf boat as it is very protected where it’s located and very easy to get in and out of with no problems. Also the lake is one of the best in Canada so we spent a ton of time boating and in the water. Absolutely loved the location, the property and the hosts!

This lake home is beautiful, with wonderful views of the lake from the windows. We cooked our own meals & the kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect place to take a pet, since there’s a fenced yard area, plus a fully enclosed deck overlooking the lake with a gate. There are games, books, comfy couches, internet access & fluffy beds. The home is next to a small public beach, but still has privacy with fencing & well placed bushes. Beach towels, 4 chairs and a bucket of kids beach toys were provided. But you’ll need to provide anything else for water play. I suggest an umbrella for shade! My only critique is I would have loved a hot shower or to use the huge master tub! There was no hot water. Water got warm for about 5 minutes, then turned cold. We boiled water in the tea kettle to wash pots & pans. My husband called Vacasa & emailed to ask if we could get to a water heater to fix it, but never heard back from them during our 4 day/3 night stay. We would stay here again anyway!

We appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked, as we prepared all our own meals and enjoyed the outdoor eating space. The beds were super comfortable as well. One thing to note is that in order to access the private dock, there's a fairly steep path down from the house to the road below/the lake. Betty was very prompt in her communication with us. I appreciated being able to store my bike in their garage as well.

This was a perfect large home for our ladies getaway! We all love to cook and the kitchen was very well equipped and laid out well to work and visit at the same time. And to sit overlooking the lake was a dream. We’re already planning when we can come again. Thank you Hudson for providing such a perfect spot!

We really enjoyed our stay in the yurt and loved the surroundings - the river is gorgeous for a swim and the flowers that Hummingbird Farm produce are absolutely glorious. There was more space than we anticipated with a newly screened in eating area on the deck. Brad took our booking very last minute as our plans had changed and it was the long weekend - super accommodating. Recommended!
