We loved being able to bring our dogs!! The beds were ULTRA comfy and we got the best sleep!! The kitchen was so very clean and an easy place to prepare a meal! Thanks Houston!

Wonderful location right next to the lake! The communication with the host was excellent, and they were very accommodating with last-minute changes. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay! Would definitely visit again if i am in the area!

Russ and Julie communicated through text and the website. Immediately responses and proactive on detailed check in/out instructions. The house was so comfortable! Super clean and everything you need was there. They even provided some waffles And muffins for breakfast! The kitchen was a perfect size for the two of us and we could have cooked way more than breakfast. Beds were soft and warm as we slept with windows open and the night air was fresh and cool. Great pillows! Linens and bath towels etc, were lovely, soft, and softly fragrant. Th home is older, but with modern floors, giving it a lovely cozy and comfy welcoming atmosphere. The front porch was a lovely place to relax in the swing and enjoy coffee after I went running each morning on the Nearby Nickel Plate Rail Trail. Local restaurants are middle America comfort food. Perfect for us! Russ and Julie are super friendly! I highly recommend this particular place! You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!

I did not get to spend as much time in Peru as I would have liked so I plan to come back. I told my boyfriend that we absolutely had to stay at Mugivan Manor again and visit the city. Mary was so kind and helpful. I was traveling for a concert and she remembered that small detail. While making sure I knew how to get into the apt, she made sure to wish me a great time. It’s the small things that really make a place great.

We had a terrific visit here. The space is little bigger than we expected, with a large, eat-in kitchen and a generous main room. The kitchen included all we needed to cook at home. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfy. The owners were both wonderful hosts: very welcoming, clear with directions, and responsive. The small bowl of snacks and hot chocolate on the kitchen table was a nice touch. We are already hoping to book again in the future.

Great place in south bend! Right on the river so very peaceful area with parks in walking distance. I stayed there for a wedding at Notre Dame and it worked perfectly- super close to all the events and very easy to get in and out of.

Cassandra is an exceptional host. She was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The Airbnb is one of the apartments in an older (c1920s) house but it is clean and well maintained. It is an upstairs apartment with an older (therefore steep by modern standards) indoor staircase. If stairs are a problem for you this may not be the roght place, but otherwise I would recommend it highly.

Sharon is a great host, and everything went smoothly with the stay. I rented the place for my parents and sister, who came to visit for a few weeks. You can tell that Sharon puts great effort into the apartment, which has lots of nice, welcoming details, and she even set a welcoming note in Spanish for my parents (their first language). The place is as described, an old house, but well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. The location felt safe, and it's just a couple of blocks away from the river (and the riverwalk and trail, which crosses all of South Bend) and a couple of blocks from the city center in the other direction. My parents were walking around every morning and loved it. We couldn't have hoped for anything better.

Stayed for 5 nights while attending a conference at ND – excellent location and easily walkable to the university. Quiet neighborhood, and a short walk for groceries, etc. The kitchen space is a highlight – well stocked with pots, pans, etc. for cooking at home and a nice stove/oven. Comfortable dining table area doubled as an office – plenty of space for two laptop setups and excellent wifi service. Living room area was perfect for reading as well – and lots of light in the front room. Great shower, water pressure, etc. – and the fan in the bedroom kept it cool for sleeping, even on a couple warmer nights. The outdoor space is a real perk – fire pit was very simple to use and a pleasant atmosphere with the outdoor lighting. A short ride from the Amtrak station, and convenient to both the university area and other points of interest in the city. Great communication from host, simple keypad access, and no difficulties at all during my time. Would absolutely stay here again!!

April and Jon were outstanding hosts. Friendly couple dedicated to deliver a cozy environment. Place is really beautiful and spacious, located in a nice area with lots of things to do around!

Everything was as described in the listing and Michele was very responsive. This was my second stay here and everything worked out great.

Had a wonderful experience w/ my sons for the USC v ND game, it is only 2.2 miles from the stadium. The home feels like a home, is comfortable and our host (Barbara) was fantastic and reachable as needed.! Super clean and perfect for a party of five!

Great little spot centrally located near Notre Dame and surrounding areas of interest. Cozy space

Host was very responsive and flexible. She provided extra cookware that I needed and answered every request quickly and positively. The place is set back from the road in a very peaceful setting. I saw lots of wildlife while there in below freezing weather. I stayed warm and comfortable with plenty of streaming to watch while cooking up a storm. I will definitely try to return when in the area!

I stay here at least once a year. Perfect for my travel needs to South Bend.

Faye was a wonderful host, very accommodating. place was clean and expansive, and the Riverside view was beautiful! would definitely stay again!
