Cosy Seafront Loft, Wonderful View

This is a comfortable L-shaped studio apartment, situated in a house facing the waterfront, in the historical town of Bakar. There is a living room with a kitchen, a small bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The loft is on the fourth floor of an old stone house. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, the boats and the old houses on the hill built closely to one another in traditional Mediterranean style. If you want to know real Croatia and you don't like the tourist crowds, Bakar is the right destination for you. From here you can make trips and get to know the Northern Adriatic Area and its natural and cultural attractions (the Islands of Krk and Cres, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Risnjak and Northern Velebit National Parks, the Istrian Peninsula, some amazing towns like Opatija, Pula, Rijeka, Rovinj. The town itself has everything you need – restaurants, cafes and grocery stores, a post office and a pharmacy. If you want to go swimming the nearest pebbly and rocky beaches are about 3 km away easily reachable by bus or a bike. The bus stop is just next to the house. There are plenty of other beaches within 10-15 km. However, staying in Bakar is meant for those people who are NOT primarily interested in sunbathing but rather in sightseeing, hiking, cycling, peace and quiet and relaxing atmosphere of a small town. In the apartment you've got a cable TV, Wifi, a washing machine and it is air conditioned. A free parking lot is about 200 m from the house. (URL HIDDEN) FOR NATURE LOVERS, we offer guided hiking tours, with experienced guides. You can choose from the following: EASY HIKES: Risnjak National Park (20 km ride, 2-hour hike), 1528 m a.s.l. Northern Velebit National Park (95 km car ride, 3 to 6-hour hike) . The car ride finishes by the mountain hut in Zavižan, 1594 m a.s.l., from where different peaks can be reached, all above 1600 m a.s.l. or you can choose to walk a part of the marvelous Premužićeva Trail, stretching all the way south for about 60 km. (URL HIDDEN) MEDIUM DIFFICULTY HIKES: Učka Nature Park, 1396 m (20 km car ride, 5-6 hour hike) . Hiking to Učka starts at the sea coast. We also offer other possibilities, and there are PLENTY :) according to your own preferences. Surrounding area abounds in natural beauties, so we can decide together what would be best for you (river sources, such the beautiful source of the Kupa river, nearby mountain peaks covered by amazing forests, hiking on the rocky plains of the island of Krk). PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO IN FURTHER DESCRIPTIONS because this is a specific area.Bakar is a small isolated village in the center of all large tourist places. It does not have a beach and you need to have a car to move arround. All the interesting places to see are in range of 5-20 kilometers(beach Kostrena,Crikvenica,Opatija,Rijeka).Studio has a small indor place and a large outdoor area(terrace and garden).It is located in old city up the hill and you have 30 stairs to get to the apartment.

One of the absolute best Airbnb we have stayed in after 3 months away from home. This felt like home. Spacious and well equipped. Thoughtful hosts live on site upstairs but place screening on balconies to guarantee privacy, These hosts do everything right even setting the pool to your preferred temperature. No hesitation in recommending this apartment.

It was actually smaller than we expected, but very nice overall. We stayed in late June, so it was quite hot — though we really enjoyed using the whirlpool at night, which was unbelievably good! Communication with the host was great as well. There’s also a good pizza restaurant nearby. I can definitely recommend it for a short stay of a couple of days!

I spent 3 nights at Dunja’s place, and I wish I booked 3 more ! She made me feel very welcome by making me traditional Croatian coffee when I arrived, and gave me a few local recommandations too. Just a warning, this is a very small village, and if you don’t have a car getting around the region might be a bit difficult, especially cause there’s not that many buses, but I knew it from the beginning and that’s exactly what was appealing to me so I’m not complaining! The place is small but very clean, and stayed cool even though the weather wasn’t ! I would definitely recommend a stay here :)

We really liked the apartment. Apartment in a new house, the arrangement is also new. The apartment was very clean. Fresh linen. Very pleased with the presence of a washing machine and dishwasher. The car we drove in was in the underground parking lot. There is a nice well-equipped beach with showers within a 13-minute walk. There are also other beaches closer. We were very pleased with our vacation. Thank You!

I highly recommend staying in this beautiful apartment! The location is absolutely exquisite – quiet and nice, ideal to relax. The apartment itself is extremely bright, which, along with the beautiful view, creates a truly special atmosphere. I felt absolutely great and relaxed in it. The host deserves a special compliment. He was extremely responsive and always available and was happy to take care of all my wishes. His hospitality made the stay so much more enjoyable.

Lovely Suite 27 in renewed stone house in Old Town

The flat is nicely furnished, right next to the church in the old town. The ringing was loud at first, but you can get used to it. Thank you for the great welcome from Antonija and Zrinko, we spent nice days in Bakar. Would recommend to everybody.
