House holiday rentals in Kulon Progo Regency

A nice place to stay for a family of five. There are only two rooms, so we still could have our privacy and time together. Although you might need to be extra careful when bringing toddlers, because the pool side could be slippery and the pool is quite deep for a baby. Nice tv, super clean bathrooms (which is very important for me), and well circulated air and lights. The place is pretty far from shops or city center, so good if you have a car although the parking might be a bit challenging but manageable. Fit for those who wish to get away from crowds. Pack your food, spices, meat, and all so you dont need to go anywhere 😅. Also, they provide complimentary (fruits and instant noodles) which is soo unexpectedly helpful. Hahaha. Kudos to the host! Looking fwd to be back!! xx

What a beautiful home! it truly exceeded our expectations. My mother had just undergone surgery at RS Sardjito, so instead of returning to my mother’s home in Jepara, we decided to rest in Yogya and stay at Surfrider. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and perfect for families. Our 3-year-old son absolutely loved the pool and sand playground, and my mom found the home theatre especially soothing with its calming music. One evening there was a short power outage, but Ben and Kak Galuh responded quickly and handled it right away, we really appreciated their care. The location was also ideal, close to many great places to eat. We followed Ben and Kak Galuh’s recommendations and tried Mediterranea Restaurant by Kamil and Sate Klathak Pak Pong (both were excellent). In the mornings, my family enjoyed peaceful walks around the neighbourhood and even bought delicious bubur ayam keliling. A recommended stay in Yogya for families.😊👌

Great place to stay with an unusual indoor / outdoor setup. It was wonderful to dip in the pool after a hot day. Breakfast was delicious. Very kind and helpful staff. Only downside is if it rains, there is no shelter as you unlock the door, so you get soaked.

Definitely one of three best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Novi and Bjorn’s place is really amazing! The heritage home gave us a very homely feeling and too comfortable to go out for attractions visit! We can tell a lot of effort has been put into to the detail to make it clean and cozy. Thanks Pak Tunggal’s hospitality and also showing us around to share more about the history of this heritage home. The location easily accessible by Grab to Malioboro street in 10-15 min, walkable distance to a grocery place with eatery. I am sure I’ll come back again for my next trip to Jogja!

Very beautiful villa with huge rooms, fantastic paddy fields view, very cozy. Mr.Tri also very helpful and try his best to make our stay comfortable. Location near many tourist attractions with less crowded traffic. Highly recommended place to stay.

great place, huge and cozy. Near taman siswa where lot of great food there. Minor things, the place location are in a quite narrow street. but other than this place was perfect to stay with families.

Place was an oasis in the middle of the city. Close to everything but once you arrived inside the u felt away from it all Retno was great ! highly recommend

Lokasi guest house ini sangat strategis, dekat dengan berbagai tempat wisata terkenal di Jogja, sehingga memudahkan saya untuk berkeliling. Suasana rumah yang tenang dan nyaman membuat saya merasa seperti di rumah sendiri. Namun, ada beberapa hal yang bisa diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan tamu. Pertama, kebersihan ruangan perlu menjadi perhatian utama. Ketika saya tiba, saya menemukan beberapa bekas dari tamu sebelumnya yang belum dibersihkan secara menyeluruh, seperti debu dan sisa-sisa bekas pemakaian. Sebaiknya, sebelum tamu berikutnya datang, pastikan untuk membersihkan ruangannya lebih teliti, terutama di area-area yang sering digunakan. Pembersihan yang lebih detail akan memberikan kesan yang lebih segar dan nyaman bagi tamu yang datang.

A great place to stay, exactly as advertised. A perfect place for those who are looking for a time out from the city. This place is surrounded by rice field. It’s the first thing you see when you arrive. Amenities as advertised, clean pool. There are four “houses” in one place, with a pool in the middle. If you have a big group, it would be great to rent all four, but if you are a small group and don’t mind other people around, it’s also great. When we came, we wanted to change “houses”, and as the space is available, we could. The owner is very responsive and helpful too.

If you want to rest, surround yourself with nature, and feel at home, then Atiek and Andre’s place is just the spot. The architecture of the house is a perfect representation of tropical modernism with a ton of light and air filtering in through the old wooden structure. The greenery outside blends in with the inside and you never feel caged in your room. The hosts do some amazing work with the local community, so if you value supporting locally owned businesses, highly recommend staying here. Will definitely come back sometime in future! ❣️

Kelli's place is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful holiday at Minggir region. It has all the complete amenities and facilities. Bathroom is amazing, although it did not have any door but curtain to close it. Do note that the bedroom did not have any air conditioner, since it has high ceilings. Our family is fine since we got a lot of fan near the bed. The bed is also fantastic, similar to the ones you will find in pricy hotels. There are a couple of restaurants, both cheap and pricy, around 10-15 minutes from the house. The road there is quite narrow for cars but the neighborhood is not crowded so we did not have any issues. The view is amazing in the morning and afternoon, full of natural landscapes and rural activities. In the evening, it is rather quiet and dark, since there aren't a lot of street lights also. Finally, this AirBnB is NOT suitable for children and elderly as it has steep stairs with no handrail.
