Our accommodation is a private, entire-house rental (3DK, 46㎡). It can host up to 6 guests, with one queen bed (for 2 people) and four single futon sets (for 4 people). For the most comfortable stay, we recommend 2–4 guests. --- ● Property Details This is a single-story traditional house with beautiful exposed beams and an open, airy atmosphere. **Japanese-style Living Room (6 tatami mats)** A relaxing space with a sofa and low table. We recommend enjoying the uniquely low perspective of traditional Japanese living. Futons stored in the closet can be laid out here for use as a bedroom. **Japanese-style Bedroom (3 tatami mats)** This room features a queen bed. **Japanese-style Room (4.5 tatami mats)** Located right by the entrance. A cozy space where you can sit on a single sofa, read a book, or enjoy tea. The closet can be used to store suitcases. This room can also be used as a bedroom by laying out futons from the 6-tatami room. **Dining Kitchen** A bright space with natural light streaming in from a skylight. Equipped with a dining table for four, kitchen facilities, and a washer-dryer. **Bathroom** Compact, clean, and comfortable. **Washbasin** A renovated space that blends retro charm with usability. **Toilet** Equipped with a washlet for your comfort. **Loft (2nd floor)** For safety reasons, guests cannot enter the loft, but you can still view the traditional Japanese roof structure. ※ There are two air conditioners/heaters. As this is a wooden house over 70 years old, please note that it may be a bit cold in winter. --- ● Parking Two cars can be parked next to the building. Please note that the road in front is one-way. 呉と尾道の中間、海沿いに位置する竹原市。 宿はJ R竹原駅より徒歩13分、広島空港より車で20分の「たけはら町並み保存地区（国の重要伝統建造物群保存地区）」中心にある、江戸時代築の２階建て・離れ・中庭つきの一軒家です。 朝・夜は人通りがほぼなく、江戸時代の町にタイムスリップしたような静かな時間を過ごすことができます。 ２階の広いフリースペースは天井の梁を贅沢に見せる広い空間で、窓からは町並みの通りが見渡せます。２階の中庭に面したお部屋からは、竹原のランドマークでもある普明閣を望むことができます。 オーガニック素材にこだわってアートリノベーションした空間では、様々な箇所でオンリーワンのアートが楽しめます。 お風呂は特に一番のこだわりで、山形県の職人による手捻りの焼き物浴槽で、アーティストであるオーナーが絵付けをしています。漆喰で丸く仕上げた壁にはホーローのアート。床には淡路島の鮮やかな青いタイル。 壁には広島の牡蠣殻を使用した瀬戸漆喰。部屋ごとに異なる壁に。床板は丹波篠山の檜100%使用。たたき土間、土壁・漆喰塗り、床板はり、全てDIYのぬくもり溢れる空間に仕上がっています。
