Nearby, there are nice beaches On the island there are many nice hiking areas, and marked hiking trails. Parking right by the cabin.

There is a short distance to great hiking opportunities, and Steinsdalsfossen – one of the most visited waterfalls in Norway – is right nearby. Whether you want a quiet evening overlooking the fields and mountains, or explore the Hardanger region, this is a perfect starting point!

This charming old villa is situated at a beautiful small farm with a farmhouse, a ceramic studio with a woodkiln, and a family home . The farm is overlooking the fjord and glacier and the view is absolutely stunning. Ideal for families! Away from traffic we have a lovely atmosphere with animals, fruit trees, swings, and a lot of space. You find great hiking right off the doorstep. The grocery store is a 10 minute walk away, the marina as well. We can help organise renting a boat for fishing.

Naustet (30 m²) is a cosy one-room apartment with a sitting area, a small kitchenette, and two built-in beds (110 cm). There is also a compact bathroom with a washing machine. Your stay includes locally made soaps, fresh towels, and bed linen. From your own balcony you can enjoy views of the fjord, and outside you will find a private patio with a barbecue – perfect for relaxing at the water’s edge.

The Lodge at Byrkjesete : Enjoy the west coast scenery, with breathtaking views from the glacier of Folgefonna in the east to the mountains in west. This family cabin was built in 2006 and is well stocked with linens, washing machine, dishwasher and everything you need for a nice holiday. Trails for hiking are in the area, ask us for advice.
