Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kwale County

Wow, what an amazing holiday! Tim was fantastic in helping us to decide whether his villa was right for us prior to booking. He also put us in touch with his local 'fixer' who helped us to book train tickets, trips and transport all at very reasonable and competitive prices. The villa is fabulous. We were spoilt for space as a family of 4 and didn't actually end up using the cottage as there was ample space in the main house. The house is furnished traditionally and we felt a million miles from home which is just what we wanted. The pool was the real highlight for us! The villa is staffed which was a new experience for us but we were quickly made to feel very comfortable. The chefs food is incredible. The housekeeper is lovely and she works tirelessly to keep everything spotless. The gardener/pool guy was a real star and we enjoyed having a laugh with him. We didn't see much of night security but we always felt extremely safe and appreciated him. 10/10 from start to finish

The house and staff are amazing! We were a bit unlucky with heavy rains and got stuck with the safari van in the park but this turned out to be our kids favorite safari experience. The food prepared for us was delicious and we would love to come back :)

I had the pleasure of staying at Cocos Paradise in Diani, and it truly lived up to its name! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and lush, tropical surroundings. It's the perfect getaway if you're looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Kenyan coast. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and swaying palm trees. The garden is beautifully kept and offers plenty of space to relax and even kids to play. What really stood out to me was the hospitality , the host & staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and welcoming. From arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see if we needed anything, the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Cocos Paradise as quiet, charming, & affordable spot in Diani,. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a great time staying at Wangari’s Place. Everything was just as expected – clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was a perfect spot to unwind. The Host was incredibly responsive. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Would happily come back!

Everything exactly as described. Big house with 3 air-conditioned bedrooms. The pool is just a few steps from the door and the beach a couple of minutes of walk. There's a fantastic chef on site and his services are included. Evelyn kept the house perfectly clean and even washed our clothes. Oh and there are 3 different types of local monkeys around keeping you entertained :)

It was my second booking already! I felt absolutely like I am at home! I missed nothing! The housekeeping was on an agreement of both! We talked about when is it necessary and the housekeeping has been done 100%. The description on this page is exactly how it is! The beach, shopping center or a pub is only a short walk away! I enjoyed every single day! There wasn’t anything I have to complain. I will definitely come back! Thanks for everything I appreciate everything of you!

We had a wonderful stay at Kevin's place. Kevin is a great host, replies in minutes and makes sure any issue that might occur is solved quickly. the apartment is very nice and cool thanks to the AC and fans. the pool was also a very nice extra touch! all in all, we would definitely recommend this place.

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at Pumzika-Tu. The house is completely stunning and the views are to die for. Staff was accommodating and informative. Rooms were comfortable and well presented. The swimming pool was clean and had lovely views over the park. The children had a fantastic time exploring the grounds on the house. Decor was lovely and felt like you had been transported to a different era in a very good way. Thank you for the team for making us stay so memorable and enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Elodie's place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was easy, and the space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed but still quiet and peaceful. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in Diani. Nick's place was all sorts of amazing. Fabulous and spacious house, lovely surroundings and a daily cleaner who was very kind to us. Nick was very responsive at all times before and during the stay and even facilitated a group to ease comms- Kudos! The villas are abit far from the shopping centre - but if you don't mind the distance - you should be good plus Nick provides information on how to get around and get shopping brought to you..In general we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I had a wonderful stay at Esther's Airbnb at Malia Homes, Bamburi. The apartment was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. The location is convenient, quiet, and secure, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Esther was a warm and responsive host, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

Il valore aggiunto di piccolo paradiso shanzu ha un nome, Annie. Lei è un host favolosa, una accoglienza disarmante, ha voluto omaggiarmi con una cena tradizionale buonissima preparata da lei e mi ha deliziato con la sua presenza per una mattinata intera per mostrarmi un ristorante con un panorama che valeva il costo dell'intera vacanza. Disponibilissima a risolvere ogni problema, mi ha organizzato i transfert presentandomi Chai, altra persona splendida molto professionale ed estremamente disponibile che mi ha accompagnato ovunque per una intera settimana. Spero di rivedere presto questi 2 meravigliosi amici che mi hanno regalato una vacanza AFRICANA strepitosa un' avventura che pochi sono in grado di organizzare.

5-Star Review: I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location is peaceful and just a short walk from the beach. It’s perfectly situated with both high-end restaurants and plenty of great local spots nearby. Right next to the gate is a charming Kibanda with a super friendly owner where you can grab fresh fruits and daily essentials. The guard, Joshua, was always kind and helpful, and David, the host, was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back!
