The place was absolutely beautiful, one of the best AirBnbs we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot!! The place was decorated and furnished to a high standard and had everything you needed. The hot tub was such fun. Randy was very friendly and engaging. Would definitely recommend

What a perfect place to stay for pur family vacation in La Jolla Shores! Walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants. Peaceful neighborhood, quaint cottage. We'll be back!

Natasha & Becca were incredible hosts! Their home was so well set up for us - supplies, instructions, local recommendations… I could go on! Our pup, the kids & the adults (my husband & I) had a lovely evening. Exactly what we needed for a staycation!

MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We also appreciated how many clean towels were available. The hosts were super friendly easy to get ahold of and Matt even shipped us some clothing items we forgot!

We had a great time and stay, arrived around 9:30 PM, Darrell met us at the carport and helped with my bag when he did not have to. He lead us up about 50 steps and gave us a tour that was super helpful. Arriving after sunset is highly recommended by us. House is comfy, Private Hot tub was wonderful to use daily. Day bed outside was awesome to star gaze. Fire pit adds a nice touch as well. Private sauna too. Plenty of beautiful greenery, water, tikis and nature sounds. Keep in mind this is set in the Topanga Canyon and is basically a forest/jungle so there are bugs, slugs and wild animals so if you are scared of bugs and whatnot you have been warned. FYI there are grounds keepers on property during the day so you are not totally alone. Darrell lives on a property up the hill and is available at all times. Side note, We have a EV vehicle and we found chargers in Calabasas and Santa Monica. Thank you Darrell and team.

This was at least my third stay at Lisa’s place. I keep coming back for the value, the privacy and the beautiful surroundings. The place e is quirky, but we love that and we love Lisa and family as hosts. Good people who deserve our support.

I stay here anytime I am in topanga. Such a lovely oasis. Cooked myself dinner and breakfast, sat in the beautifully clean sauna (heats up quick), took a bath outside, napped in the hammock, and was on my way. Perfect place to stay, 10/10.

Very good location

Wow. This place is magic. Perfect for a quick solo getaway and I’m already planning my next trip back with my partner. There is so much to do and enjoy. The majestic oak tree out back, the outdoor soaking tub, the outdoor daybed, and the breakfast Maggie made for me were highlights. I felt totally immersed in the wild nature of Topanga. This was truly a 10/10 experience. Only note is that there are mosquitos right now, so plan accordingly :)

The place is in a beautiful location and felt very private. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dona for being such a fantastic host!

Jason’s place in Vista was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, well-stocked, and clearly cared for with love. The house had a perfect blend of comfort and style—cozy enough to feel like home, but with enough California beach-town charm to make the stay feel like a vacation.

We had a great time staying at Terri’s place for a week. It was me, my husband, our 1.5 year old daughter and dog. The space was perfect for our little family and gave us so much flexibility. It is walking distance to a grocery store, casual and fine dining, bodegas, taco shops, bakeries, ice cream shops, you name it. We were able to enjoy our afternoons out and then cook or grab takeout for dinner after bedtime. The patio was a great place for us to hang out during the day and night. Others mentioned the noise of La Jolla Blvd but we didn’t mind it at all! In fact there was great people watching and we still felt like we had privacy enough to sit out in PJs. Thank you so much for letting us stay! I definitely recommend for small families looking to explore La Jolla and Bird Rock.

Stephany’s home was all around wonderful! We felt right at home. Our dog especially loved the fenced in portion of the yard. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return!

Great place! Very cozy and homey, located right next to the main area with all the restaurants and shops. Michael was very kind to let us check in a couple hours early, and Amber was very nice and helpful with making sure we were settled in. Check out was easy too. Thank you!!!

We loved our stay. My husband and I went to Running Springs simply to taste the pizza at Lou Eddies near by. The cottage was close to the location. There was also a strip of stores nearby with everything you will need. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor chairs and enjoying the quiet, relaxing on the couch and watching a movie and simply needed a quick break from the hustle and bustle of life. The cottage felt private, was very quiet and every detail inside was well thought out. It is clear from the moment you step inside that Jen and Austin care for their cottage. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

This little cottage was such a delightful surprise. Located in a very convenient location near the spectacular Laguna Beach cliff walk, and near lots of fabulous restaurants, and yet off the busy road in a little secluded spot that included a parking spot. Cynthia was always immediately responsive to any questions, and accommodating for our request to leave our car for a few hours while we joined family for a late brunch. The property was a bit tricky to find, but maybe because we were unfamiliar with the area. We have family with a new baby expected nearby so will recommend this lovely little spot for family coming to visit from the East Coast. Beds were comfortable, bathroom spacious and spotless, plenty of extra towels, and a well-equipped kitchen. Will definitely book again should we return to the area.

This was our second trip back to Lauri’s in Encinitas. The cottage was perfect for our family of four and provides absolutely beautiful panoramic views and ocean breezes! We love how easy it is to walk down the hill into town - so many shops, restaurants and nightlife options to choose from, and the beach is right around the corner. There is no doubt we would stay here again during a future visit!

A really cozy and comfortable stay just a short walk from La Jolla's beaches and tons of amenities. The communication was great, and Jassica was very helpful in letting us drop off bags early so that we could start exploring La Jolla before our check in time. We look forward to making it back to La Jolla again as soon as we can, and we would definitely book again!

Great location, great price, and great kitchenette, perfect for a few nights stay!

This was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The bed was firm and very comfortable (I slept in quite late on Saturday morning!). The deck is so beautiful to sit out and relax and read a book. The fireplace was so wonderful to sit around at night. The hosts are so responsive and the detailed instructions were so helpful. When you go, don’t miss Alexandra’s Emporium for women’s clothing and accessories, Hearts Desire (Christian bookstore), Cadillac Cowboy bar (when they have a live band playing), Tiki bar for great food and drinks, Lakefront Tap Room for fabulous food, and the Belgian Waffle House for a great breakfast. Hit up the Strawberry peak fire look out on your way home. All in all, it was a wonderful getaway from the city life and we will definitely stay here the next time we need to refresh and getaway!

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.
