I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again , the host was so friendly and accommodating and the house was extremely beautiful , clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay here when visiting La Fortuna! The house was spacious, clean, had all the amenities you need, and was in a good spot of La Fortuna with beautiful surroundings. My family and I really liked it. Randall & Juliana were also both very responsive to help if I had any questions. I highly recommend this house for your stay and would not hesitate to stay again in the future if I ever visit La Fortuna again!

If it is available for your dates, book it right now. We spent four nights here with our family of five and I would stay at least one more night next time. The location is perfect in every way- safe, private, walkable, views, easy access to everything. Beds were comfy and plunge pool was a plus. Marvin has thought of every detail... there was even a pitcher of cold water already in the fridge for us when we arrived. Communicating with Marvin was also like having a local friend giving us ideas for our tours. Everything he suggested was great and he made the booking process easy. It was much nicer than the hard sells on the sidewalk of beautiful La Fortuna.

Wow! What an amazingly beautiful home for a group to share! Loved the spacious place and clean accommodations, large outdoor seating area and the pool is perfect! Just from the house we saw a sloth, toucans, & lizards. We felt very safe with having a locked gate. The privacy was nice. I hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Erick’s place on our trip to La Fortuna. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you needed. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Daniel and his team were exceptional. They let us drop our bags off before check-in so we could explore town, offered helpful tour services, and even a complimentary cleaning (which we didn’t use, but appreciated!). The house is in a great location—10–15 min walk to downtown La Fortuna, close to a grocery store, and tucked on a quieter street with a nice local vibe. One note for light sleepers: the house is just past a curve where motorcyclists like to rev their engines, often late into the night. I don’t usually consider myself a light sleeper, but I did struggle. The hosts thoughtfully provide a white noise machine, which helps, but just something to be aware of. Overall, for everything within the host’s control, this stay was fantastic and easily 5 stars!

Beautiful, peaceful place, this is the second time I stayed in the property, and I will most likely visit again.

The house is very nice! Everything was very clean and the location was perfect for going to and from downtown or places of interest. The pool is a plus that adds a lot.

We spent four amazing days at Venado Valley Ranch. From the very beginning, we felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from Sandra. There is so much to do and experience here. Our children, aged 9 and 11, were constantly entertained by all the animals and activities. Ronald guided us on a beautiful tour through the river to the waterfall, where we had a wonderful swim at this unique spot. The horseback ride with the whole family through the mountains was fantastic. Milking the cows and making sugarcane juice were also great experiences. Breakfast and dinner were prepared by Damaris – what delicious meals she made! We truly enjoyed every bite. The accommodation itself is really special. Our kids even had their own room, where Smokey the house cat came to keep them company. They said these were the best days of the entire vacation. But beyond the location, it’s the people who made it truly special. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us, Sandra, Ronald, and Damaris!

It is an extremely BEAUTIFUL place, perfect for disconnecting and renewing energies, super complete, cozy, the place was spotless, they took care of every detail, it has everything at hand to not worry about anything, the pool super clean and relaxing my husband and I stayed four days and it didn't reach us to enjoy so much that the place offers and the house, definitely the host is a beautiful person, super friendly and sweet, it is just a perfect place, we will come back to this place closed eyes. (highly recommended)

This is a mountain top oasis. We loved the view of the Arenal volcano from the infinity pool. The place was the perfect size for our two families. There was plenty of room for everyone. Mario was very attentive to our needs. We even got the opportunity to milk a cow and visit the farm. If you visit La Fortuna, you should consider staying here, you are close to town but still in the country.

For the moment we saw we knew it was for us everything was spotless well equipped with everythingwe need it Mony was very nice to work and communicate with very quick to respond

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

This place is a hidden gem. Irene is one of a kind; always willing to help, very responsive and super super kind. I will be back for sure. Gracias, Irene por toda tu ayuda y amabilidad!

Marco was an amazing host. He was very responsive and helped us with anything that we needed. The property was beautiful. Felt private, loved the little lounge pool and the hammocks all over the property. The back patio was nice and big and we could sit out there and watch the rain and the animals. We saw howler monkeys and tons of birds since Marco puts fruit out for them every day. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus. The location was perfect and super close to town. Each room had its own AC unit which kept the place nice and cool.

Stay here on your La Fortuna visit! The apartment is beautiful, plenty of space for a couple and very clean. Amazing view of the volcano from the room. Located right in downtown La Fortuna, incredibly walkable area with lots of restaurants. We walked to most of our excursions, but it was easy to find an uber/taxi from the place as well. Host was incredibly helpful with recommendations and very flexible. We will stay here again when we come back!

Jose’s place was just like the pictures, incredible! It really feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, you can hear all of the different types of animals, it’s amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Birder’s Paradise. Tanyia and Rod are super hosts and communication was excellent. The house was well maintained , beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The views from each room were amazing. The property is beautifully landscaped with a large variety of flowering bushes. We spent a most of our time outside watching birds and enjoying the scenic view of the lake. Around 5am we had an excellent view of the volcano to the southeast of us. We do recommend 4 wheel drive to access the house because the last part is slow and rough. Totally worth it. We highly recommend.

We really liked the accommodation, a small paradise surrounded by nature and different birds. The house is also beautiful and David is very attentive. If I can, I'll repeat

My wife and I chose this unit for our honeymoon, the space was extremely beautiful and lush. The giant windows opening up into the La fortuna jungle was breathtaking. We spent every evening in the jacuzzi listening to the wildlife and sounds of La fortuna. Fernando had great recommendations and was very friendly. We’re looking forward to returning to this special place.

Very happy to enjoy such a beautiful place, the unique, well-conditioned accommodation, the very private environment, surrounded by beautiful details carefully added to add to the magnificent landscape that can be seen and breathed, very grateful to Adolfo, more than a host, a friend in each of his attentions.

We had an amazing stay at Elixir Arenal! Our favorite times were spent outside on the patio enjoying the rainstorms and birds calling while in the hot tub. The river was also a beautiful spot to read or even nap. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make a couple meals at home, and the house was a short drive from markets and delicious restaurants (Chante Verde just down the road was our favorite). Priscilla was very responsive and always willing to adjust the hot tub time for us as we were traveling with kids. Would 100% recommend.
