This home was chosen because of it's proximity to Recruit Training camp Great Lakes! I wanted to make sure I could get to my son's bootcamp graduation quickly with no issues of traffic. That worked out perfectly especially with Sarges easy directions! As for this home, it is located on a one way street which was extremely easy to find. The home is adorable, extremely clean and well decorated!!! I would highly recommend. They accommodated an earlier check in as we had a few connecting flights from Los Angeles... The beds are extremely comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The towels in the bathroom were nice and fluffy. Shower was really nice with a filtered shower head! Nice TVs thru out! Shampoos, conditioners, soap in shower. first aid kits, iron and iron board, blow dryer. Kitchen had plenty of essentials to utilize for home cooked meals. If you are coming for Navy bootcamp graduation... do not hesitate to book!! Perfect home to rent! Thank you again to the hosts!

This was an ideal spot for a lovely weekend for a family wedding at the Chicago Botanical Garden. So close and convenient. When headed into the city, there was traffic - but that is expected in a busy city. The home was so comfortable. Lots of amazing paintings that Phil has painted; like we were in an art museum. Lots of interesting books to look at. The decor was just fascinating. Great taste! Sleeping was so comfortable and peaceful. The neighborhood is a few blocks from Ravinia Park that hosts a summer concert series. The first night we arrived, we listened to James Taylor singing while we relaxed in the back yard. Thursday evenings there is a food fest a few blocks away with a pickleball court. The beach is also very nearby. A great neighborhood to walk in and many friendly neighbors playing or relaxing in the front yard. It all felt magical.

Great stay at Crystal's place! She was very responsive and helpful for check in. Even though this was in her home, it felt very private. It is immaculately kept and was comfortable with great amenities.

Larry was a very accommodating and responsive host! The place was amazing and exactly as described. Plenty of room, amenities, and beautiful views. He made sure we had plenty of supplies and all the stuff for Smores!

wow this place was amazing smelt so good as soon as we walked in it looked just as described the rooms were amazing lots of space and the beds were extremely comfortable wish i could’ve stayed! you get exactly what you pay for and the host was super friendly i recommend 100%!!

Visited Waukegan for a Naval graduation. The home was super close to the base. Lots to do in the area. Neighbors in the neighborhood were friendly.

Great work out facility and pool still needs some work but depending on your length of stay and needs it worked well for me

Had a great stay here for my wife’s 50th birthday party. Everyone had a ton of fun. The fully stocked kitchen, really is fully stocked! Didn’t need anything including coffee, sweetener and creamer!! The pool is fabulous! One thing I recommend though is that if you do not own a pool and not familiar with using a power retractable cover, have the host do this for you. While we successfully did it, it wasn’t easy and took some time with. If we stay here again, we will definitely take them up on their offer to do this!! Minor things to keep in mind: If you plan on more than 5 people around the fire, bring bag chairs. There are metal folding chairs, but not great for dirt. If you want to play cornhole (bags), bring your own boards as the ones supplied are shot. Bring your portable speaker! It was really nice to have music outside and in the pool area! I brought a JBL Flip and it was plenty!

A lovely and cozy place to relax in after touring around chicago! Host had quick and detailed responses and helped out greatly with checking in and checking out.

This house perfectly accommodated my family and I for almost 2 weeks. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom and bathrooms were very clean and the living room had lots of room for my toddlers to run around. We stayed during the winter and the house was pretty cold but they provide individual room space heaters to help, which was great! The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had and were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in this area.

A great place to stay at a great value. We used all 6 bedrooms. Perfect location. Papi surprised us with pastry the first and second morning. Was a real pleasure to stay at his place.

Easy to enjoy, lake front home that met or exceeded all of our expectations. Shawn was incredibly responsive during our month long stay. The house has a great location, abundant parking and is walkable to downtown fox lake. We especially enjoyed walking for a coffee at the local owned and run coffee shop and getting cones at the Dairy Queen.

The place worked great for what we needed! There are lots of restaurants close by and plenty of things to do at the lake house. The kids loved the place, especially the firepit and that everyone had lots of room to sleep.
