Mansion holiday rentals in Lake Gaston

By far the best AirBNB we have ever stayed at. Amanda was amazing!! We will definitely be booking again. If you are looking for a getaway to relax and reset this is the place. If you enjoy nature you will see two resident bald eagles and white squirrels. We had the best 24th Anniversary weekend getaway. Thank you Amanda!!

Our family had a wonderful stay here for Spring Break - The home was spacious and accommodating for our family of 7 and of course our 2 dogs ! We would choose this house again next time we are in LKG.

Very beautiful open kitchen with a great view of the lake, very breathtaking. Plenty of room for a big family. I’d come back for sure.

Awesome house in a great location on the lake. All of the amenities to keep adults and kids busy for a 4 day weekend. We will be going back next summer for sure!

This home was perfect for our family vacation! We especially loved the sandy “beach” area and play set for the kids, the huge table with room for everyone, and the beautiful lake views. Daniel was a great host! We would definitely come back.

We had a great trip! House was beautiful, as pictured! We had a great time enjoying the dock and lake. The fire pit was lovely as well. The co-host, Bob, was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The only negative thing we have to say is that it wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival but nothing that would prevent me from coming back. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Also, FYI to other guests, we did see snakes several times in the back yard…Just helpful to know if you have dogs or kids.

This home was a perfect vacation getaway! The house itself was roomy, clean and comfortable. The peaceful lakefront setting was spectacular. The home was supplied with everything that you could possibly need. The host was very responsive and caring. One of the best vacations ever. Would highly recommend.

10/10. Fabulous house right on the water. 2 bedrooms downstairs, 2 upstairs, great for 2 families. LOTS of space. Incredibly well supplied house. Not one of those airbnb's that try to make money and give you a pretty frame but nothing inside. They had everything you could think of. Need batteries, there, birthday candles, there, tape, there, balsamic vinegar for salad, there, extra blankets, there, night lights, there, etc etc.. Host is great. Because they had it all, we didn't need to communicate much. The house is nicer than the photos. Highly recommend the house and definitely hope to be back.

Thank you , Leigh for a wonderful stay at your lake house! Our boys (13 + 11) had the best time down at your dock. Plenty for them to do - paddle boards, kayaks, fishing off the dock. The inside game room space was also a great added bonus for them. We brought our dog, Wally and so appreciate when we can include him on our trips - so thank you! Would love to return!

We had a great stay at Natalie's place! We went for a long week-end away with our teen-age and young adult children. The lake house was perfect! The outdoor spaces were amazing! There was enough outdoor seating for a small army and your choice of areas to hang out - one of three upper decks (one of them screened), the massive back patio, or the dock, which had a covered portion for those wanting to stick to the shade. The floating platform provided endless entertainment for my husband and boys - they spent an impressive number of hours shoving each other off the platform into the water. My youngest son, who is non-verbal and has significant special needs, spent a solid chunk of one afternoon being floated out as far as the platform rope reached, then hauled back in at top speed while older siblings did cannon balls off the dock and into the water around him. I've not heard him laugh that much in quite awhile. If you're looking to unplug and spend time outdoors, this is the place!

We celebrated our son’s 16th birthday at the Wilde Retreat and it was such an unforgettable experience for us!. Check-in was seamless and upon walking into the house, the views of the lake from the walls of windows are breathtaking!. The home was spotless and very open and modern with tons of natural light. We rented jet skis for the days we were there, and the dock made it a breeze to store them at night. We also did a boat rental, and enjoyed driving it to the house for a picnic lunch during the day. Everything, from the breathtaking morning water views, the night stars as you lay on the "water hammock," and the beautiful home filled with all the amenities you might need made for the perfect birthday getaway! We can't wait to go back!

We came to this AirBnB for our yearly vacation and it was all we wanted and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful and it was the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in since we began our AirBnB vacations a few years ago. There was plenty of space for our group, and the home was more than accommodating. There was a private fishing area and the local Walmart helped us get set up with fishing licenses and provided information about local fish life and regulations. The hosts also left a wonderfully detailed binder with information about the nearby marina and places of interest, and a detailed map on how to get from the local marina back to the AirBnB! And a member of our friend group proposed at the nearby winery/vineyard! It was a 11/10 AirBnB and vacation, will definitely recommend and could not be more grateful to the hosts for the amazing stay!

The house is absolutely beautiful and a great proximity to the neighborhood amenities! We brought our kayaks and paddleboards and the kids were able to paddle to the neighborhood beach and had so much fun! You are very close to the neighbors in the small cove but everyone was so friendly and fun!

The house has about anything you might need during your stay. I would suggest a gallon pitcher and some serving bowls. Anthony was most helpful, when I left a valuable behind. I got it back without much trouble. Thank you again for a relaxing week! Great host!

Our stay at Lake Gaston was a great relaxing vacation. My family had a wonderful time. House was very nice and clean. Pool was great, although got really warm around mid day with little shade. Which in turn was a perfect time for the lake dock which offered a good amount of shade and a great place to hangout. Joanna was quick to respond with any questions.

We are enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect for our large family. We appreciate the complimentary coffee and s’mores. We found several fun games to play. Would definitely recommend this home.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay here. From past experience with other AirBNBs we were definitely overpacked for our trip. The kitchen has everything you could need!! Seasonings galore! All kinds of utensils! The smoker/grill was awesome and easy to use, and all materials needed to maintain it were close by. It was a little rainy the first few days, but we loved watching the rain from the sun room. The space was super clean inside the house, smelled amazing, and while we only used the main part of the house (it was just two of us) we can easily see ourselves coming back with a bigger group! Bed was comfy, instructions for check out were clear, and the scenery was just beautiful. Fishing from the kayaks was an added treat (we did bring our own rods) We are so excited to find another time to come back and enjoy some time here!!

We had an amazing stay! Plenty of room for the whole family (4 couples, 6 kids) Great dock! Great swimming pool! Grandkids loved it! The whole house is beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

This home was awesome I definitely would stay again. The beds are so comfortable and he had the home stocked with everything we needed.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The views of the lake are outstanding and the house is really well laid out. I love to cook and the kitchen was so well equipped it was a treat to prepare meals in. The master bathroom was lovely with the bath being my favourite. The host could not have been more helpful even calling stores to help us find a Christmas tree! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place with great amenities. The lake is beautiful, pool is nice, and elevator comes in handy for families or older parents. The balconies are pretty and it’s peaceful and a great getaway.

Our entire family of 10 (children & grandchildren) were very comfortable in the house and the layout was more spacious than expected. There was something to keep everyone happy from the swimming pool, the lake, softball games in the yard, playing pool and ping pong in the garage, smores at the fire pit and playing board games inside before bedtime. Lots of great memories were made this week and precious time for the grandchildren to all be together!! Thank you, Rusty!!
