The place was cozy and pleasant. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The host was very kind and welcoming. There was a great bar on-site, which added to the experience. Everything looked just like the photos. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again!

Walk to Ghibli | Cozy 2BR: Family + BBQ & Piano

ChiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely stay, great communication with host, Chie san. She met with us during our stay, which was a nice touch for me. Chie is attentive to detail & their place has everything we need to make our stay comfortable. I use the kitchen everyday to cook & enjoyed it. The unit has washer, dyer, hosts provide detergent, scent booster & even laundry bags for delicate clothing which I appreciated & of course use. Love the deck in the backyard, we had dinner outside on our 2nd night. It's private, quiet & has a river runs along the property. The 2 bedrooms are soundproofed & all rooms are connected. The unit is very clean & well maintained . The hosts made sure we have everything we need & gave us extra treats for the kids (cookies & juice). Make sure to input their building name in Google maps for accurate directions. This property is close to the Expo 2005, Ghibli park (which is inside the Expo) , Beisia market, Ikea. I got to meet some lovely locals, the people from Aichi are awesome.

The town of Mt.Fuji & Matcha “Shizuoka”

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our first trip to Japan was so wonderful. I'm never been a fan of the city. When I went to Tokyo and Osaka it was so crowded due to over tourism in those areas. I appreciated Yoshi's accommodation more and enjoy so much of the hidden parts of Japan like Izu and parts of Shizuoka. I definitely recommend more people to stay in areas like Fujieda. It's truly a traditional experience and environment great to get settling in with Japanese culture and mannor. I would definitely recommend more foreigner explore more parts of Japan rather than the hotspots of Japan!!! I highly recommend Yoshi!!!

Very nice and cozy home and an even nicer Host. Would talk to me about my day, gave me recommendations, and was so patient with my limited Japanese. She even cooked for me for my last night and morning. The area is also really nice, definitely want to come back to Hamamatsu in the future and stay here again !

Great host. When we arrived, they greeted us at the entrance and immediately showed us to the parking lot. They were very attentive during my stay, and there were plenty of amenities, so I was able to spend a more comfortable time than at a hotel.I would like to use this inn when I visit Ise in the future.Thank you very much.

HAZ Cottage

Megumi and Toshi were wonderful hosts from check-in until check-out! From being greeted at the entrance, talking story in their mini cottage, giving us recommendations - places to eat, activities, and checking the surf report - and being very helpful when we needed anything. This place was clean, beautiful, private, and quiet. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I highly recommend it and I would go back there every time. Mahalo!

Experience Real Japanese Life in Hamamatsu

EliotRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My son and I had a terrific time at Saya and Nadz’s house. The house itself is in a residential area, conveniently located a short distance from Sekishi station. This was a good launching point for us to visit the sights in Hamamatsu. This was not a typical place to stay— it was truly more like a warm, welcoming home stay. In addition to Saya and Nadz, the family includes two kids and two parents so there was a lot of positive energy buzzing all around. Spending the time to get to know this family was one of the highlights of our visit to the area!
