House holiday rentals in Lake Koocanusa

This is easily the nicest place we have stayed. The house and location are incredible, but the hospitality, communication, and professionalism were all above and beyond those of many other places we have stayed. We will certainly keep this one at the top of our list and look forward to returning when we can.

Place was at a great location and close to town. It had everything we needed, spacious, and the view from the balcony was great!

We had a great time in Kalispell. The weather was great and the house was pretty much perfect. The bed was a bit low in the primary bedroom and the shower floor was a bit slippery - so we bought a shower mat. The furniture was also a bit low - my husband has a bad knee and he had some trouble getting up from bed and sitting in the living room. The pool was awesome. So nice to wake up to a swim each morning. The hot tub was a bit cold, but Steve, the guy who takes care of things, came over and introduced himself and fixed the problem right away. Nice distance to Glacier National Park. The food in the area is a bit lacking. Went to the Montana Club and an Italian place, but otherwise a bit disappointing. Would stay again if in the area and highly recommend the house.

Wonderful stay at Brent and Crystal's place. it was just as described, clean and comfortable for our family of 3. The location was perfect as a home base for going to Glacier National Park, but also had the convenience of the town of Whitefish - groceries, restaurants, etc.

We had a great stay! It was our first time in Whitefish, and being so close to all that the to offer was fantastic. The place was spotless, and has all the cooking/comfort items you could want or need. I appreciated all the little notes / tips around the place. It had everything we needed.

We had a group of 7 (3 kids and 4 adults) and we found ourselves so comfortable at Nicholas’ place! I have never been to a CLEANER AirBnb and the beds were all super comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and cozy. It was truly a perfect landing spot after our adventures horseback riding, fishing, glacier and a rodeo! We had the best time in Montana and this home was a big reason why. Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations!

Very cozy loft that's in a great location. It's just out of town enough to be peaceful, but only a few minute drive to a lively downtown. The indoor pool and sauna were a great addition. Annie was very helpful and thorough.

Great spot for Glacier and Whitefish is such a great little town. Place was very clean and beds were very comfortable. David was great with providing essentials! Only small thing was a lot of light comes in the upstairs bedroom.

Danny’s property is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Whitefish, Montana. The location puts you in a peaceful nature setting while still being very convenient to downtown (less than 15 minutes). The home tastefully done with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay. Very private, peaceful end of the road getaway with fantastic views of the mountains. House is very well equipped, clean and modern. Host was responsive with check in and instructions. Close to town, but far enough in the country to relax and soak in all the beautiful views.

The hot tub was delightful and perfectly situated to maximize the amazing views seen from all over the house. We even enjoyed the deck chairs on a sunny winter day. Inside, the separately controlled thermostats did not go unnoticed by me (hot mama.)😉. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, especially things like crockpot, oil, sugar, flour and ziplock bags. My daughter in law the awesome cook, especially loved the spices. A 2 cup liquid measuring cup and a water pitcher would make kitchen perfect in my opinion. The recent remodeling was lovely. The bedrooms are large enough to get around with suitcases, etc. The laundry room, hallway and pantry provided plenty of space to spread out and organize Christmas gifts, etc. Extra space is a rare commodity in most rentals. The beds were all very comfy. The remodeled bathrooms sparkled and we loved the higher vanities. An extra towel bar/ring by the sinks and a robe hook would be useful and I'm certain on the "to do " list since remodeling

Raina's house was absolutely perfect for our weekend. It was incredibly clean and super cozy. The decor is modern Montana and the mini split kept the house cool on hot summer nights. It was so fun cooking on the griddle. The amenities were amazing ver the top, including a handful of ways to make coffee alone! Raina herself was incredibly kind, communicated well and was a phenomenal host!!

This property is absolutely enchanting and so romantic. It was the perfect peaceful getaway my husband and I needed after a stressful time. The view is breathtaking, and the house is situated to take full advantage of it.

Beautiful views of Whitefish Lake. Stunning modern home. Enjoyed waking up every morning just to see the view. We had a great time at Glacier and beautiful Whitefish.

Julie's house and property are beautiful and felt very private. My wife and I were able to see a lot of wildlife; deer, ducks, turkeys. The hot tub was the perfect place to look at the stars at night! We recommend Goat Mountain Pizza in Bonner's Ferry. We are fortunate to have had a chance to stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The view was absolutely stunning! The house was incredibly clean, neat, and well-organized, and it had all the dishes and supplies we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids especially loved sleeping in the cozy upstairs beds and had a blast throughout the trip. One of our favorite parts was relaxing in the sauna, it was the perfect way to unwind!! Thank you so much for hosting us! We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back!!

This house was well worth the price for how close it is to the West Entrance to GNP (about 6 mins) and for what all the house includes, and I know we would have tired of driving every day from the other locations. We loved how spacious and new the house was, the amazing kitchen that had everything we needed to cook a good breakfast. The pots and pans were "good" ones in every size. Plenty of drinkware for whatever drinking needs you have, and dining ware. It was so peaceful outside, with a deer or two roaming around, and having the hot tub was such a bonus our first night. We went to Columbia Falls (15-20 mins) for groceries, dining, flying fishing, a spa, and enjoyed the Farmers Market there on Thursday night. We drove into Whitefish (35 mins) for an evening, but most everything closes up at 7pm except restaurants. Amy was always responsive to any question and offered advice on things when asked. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Luke and Unique were fantastic hosts for our vacation. The house was very nice and modern and matched the photos quite well! The house is fairly close to a busy road so you get some road noise at night, however we did not notice much as we were either out by the propane fire pit outside, grilling, or sleeping after long days in Glacier NP. Overall we could not be happier with the place and the price we paid! This was a trip where we celebrated new adventures, birthdays, and even an engagement all in one week and this place helped make it that much more special. Thank you Luke and Unique, cant wait to stay again in the future! 5 stars!

My wife and I stayed here for one of the best months ever! This place was so amazing, we almost didn't want to leave the property. The house was absolutely spotless, even in areas that usually get overlooked. It was in a very safe and quiet area that felt secluded in nature, but still within about 15 minutes of everything you could need. Brooke and Dallas were super responsive and helpful in case anything came up. There were deer in the yard at times, trout and salmon just off the dock, and a bald eagle would often fly overhead. There are two parks nearby which are great for walking, and of course it's not far from Whitefish or Glacier NP destinations. We want to come back already!

5 stars Absolutely loved my stay here. The place was clean, peaceful, and perfectly set up to enjoy everything Montana has to offer. Woke up to quiet mornings, mountain air, and great views. The hosts were responsive but gave space, which I appreciated. Everything worked, check-in was easy, and it felt like a true home base, not just a rental. Would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend if you’re looking for something grounded, comfortable, and close to nature.

Fantastic stay. We felt right at home and was the perfect place to be a bit away from it all. The house is really well built and doesn't have that "vacation rental" feel that you sometimes find. Wish we could've stayed longer! Only thing to note is that there is another house on the property that is occupied by the caretakers...so it was completely secluded. We didn't see them the entire time, but wasn't exactly what we were expecting. Value for money was huge though, it's about 20 mins east of Whitefish, so pefect balance. Would def return!

This accommodation was amazing! So peaceful, gorgeous deck with the best view of fernie ski hill and full afternoon sun, very clean and private hot tub, brand new and top of the line fixings and appliances, cozy beds….perfect place to stay for a ski trip! Kids loved the bunk bed and loft rooms. Host was wonderful! Very accommodating, responsive, and met us upon arrival to welcome us and show us around the property. Exceptional place to stay!! Very convenient to the ski hill and townsite, yet felt miles away at the same time…very peaceful and million dollar ski hill & mountain views!

We could tell that Robert and Ellen went to work for us. We had everything we needed and then some. They are thorough, detail oriented and very pleasant to interact with. Splitting the cost with a couple of good friends made it reasonable. First morning saw an owl out of the window out from the porch in the trees. Firs night saw a huge bull moose right under the porch. Looked like he thought it was as his home. Looking forward to visiting again next year.
