Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Lugano

Any closer to the lake and you’d be wet. The views are spectacular, Varenna is an easy walk or the train station is across the road. (and up a bit, you can’t hear it) Rindo met us on arrival and gave us some good food recommendations. Comfortable bed, typical Italian electrics and a great place to watch the world go by. The car park is a bonus, if it becomes an option, I’d take it.

Very quiet and spacious accommodation, in a beautiful environment you can have the chance to observe a few chamois. The veranda that connects the 2 houses is very nice and the outdoor grill is very convenient in good weather. Noted that the property is inhabited by the owner when it is not rented. Personal belongings are therefore present, but that didn't bother us. Francesco is very responsive to answer questions and did everything possible to make the stay enjoyable.

Casa Isola is beautifully decorated. We felt super good. The equipment has everything you need and everything was clean.

Luciana is a great friendly and communicative woman. She was always quick to respond to our messages or questions. The house was perfect for us: my parents and brother slept in one apartment and my husband, our sons and I in the other. The weather was very nice, so we could sit outside a lot. We had little to no trouble with mosquitoes and there are screens all over the house. In less good weather, the seven of us would have been in one space that would have been somewhat cramped. It is possible, but I would have found that too tight for an entire week. Please be aware of this. Within a 5-minute walk you will find the small supermarket of Edoardo. This incredibly friendly man goes out of her way to help you well. This has worked very well with some words in German and almost no English and a very nice, cozy daily contribution to our holiday feeling. When you walk in the evening from the fence towards the chapel, you have a chance of a beautiful sunset overlooking Lake Orta.

We had a great time at Silvia's place, it is extremely well equipped, well located and we really appreciated the little touches that awaited us ( everything for breakfast...). On the other hand, the presence of a kayak and bikes is a real plus, as well as the private parking space. Silvia is a helpful, discreet and very friendly host. We warmly recommend this place.

We had great days in the accommodation, it was very tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were not very lucky with the weather, but we were able to use the "TV room" extensively. They always responded very quickly to our questions and we felt we were in good hands. The small bathing section is a highlight and I could still use the SUP boards, it was a lot of fun.

This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.

It was like paradise! A huge garden, private beach - what more could you want... A trip to Orta by boat (absolutely!!!) The dog Mogli also liked it very much 😄

“A Unique and Heartwarming Experience” The bamboo house, though made of wood, was truly unique and offered a different kind of stay. It was surprisingly spacious inside and thoughtfully equipped—Maria has done a wonderful job setting it up.they genuinely connected with us and made us feel welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something warm, peaceful, and out of the ordinary.

It was a fantastic vacation. The place is even more beautiful than the images show—a perfect location for relaxation. The house has a boat to get around (restaurants and food shopping). Before we came, we thought getting around with a ship would be difficult, but it became the vacation's star and made everything magical. We used it several times each day and had so much fun. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Mattia was excellent and responsive. His dad even came around to show us how to fish. Couldn't have asked for more from a host.
