This place is all about the experience. The views from the kitchen and first bedroom are absolutely breathtaking. And the whole apartment gives you a sense of how people used to live and still live in this area. Paola and her husband are excellent hosts. Traditional italian breakfasts cooked by Paola in the garden every morning - that’s beyond fantastic. You won’t find anywhere else. The best place to experience lake Como!

Oliviero’s apartment is charming and just as the photos online. It’s comfortable with plenty of room. I left the window open at night and so was aware of a few cars going past in the early morning. It can’t be helped. It is ideally placed being 2 minutes walk from the Main Street in Cite Alta., which is just beautiful. I’ve had a lovely holiday. Thank you Oliviero.

We had an early morning flight out of the Milan airport. Silvia's place was the perfect location for the last night of our Italian vacation - a short and easy drive to the airport. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean, and has comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Silvia went out of her way to bake a delicious cake for our early breakfast. She was very responsive to our questions and accommodating with our check in.

Fabulous stay, highly recommend these hosts and their place. Luisa was very proactive with us and responded to every question, even being able to pick us up from the bus station and drop us back on return. The accommodation is so clean and organised and has every utensil in the kitchen you will ever need. There is plenty of space and comfy seats, two tv's if you need them. Our hosts left snacks, water and wine for us which was very welcome. There is a choice of balconies to decide to have breakfast or a drink on. We loved our stay here.

What an amazing place! It has been an unforgettable experience, the house met all our needs. But the best thing was meeting Sonia and Simone. We felt like being part of the family. Thank you very much!

Villa Attica Colonia is an absolutely gorgeous property! Monica the host could not have been more accommodating. She truly was wonderful and helped us with all that we needed! She served the most lovely breakfast every morning in a little basket by the window. The view is outstanding and it makes you feel like you never wanna leave the property. It is a five star accommodation. If you are going to Lake Orta this is the best place you could possibly stay! Thank you again Monica for everything!

We recently stayed at Vilfredo's place, he is the owner of the property. I really appreciate the communication with the host, not the companies. We came for Easter holidays. The weather was very interesting. It was warm,it's a plus,then it rained, the clouds,then the ladybug. The weather was incredible. Vilfredo's place as my family was perfect. The views from the window are incredible. We are a very simple family who visited Colico. This house and the city ranks first in my top! I don't want to advertise. But those views are incredible. I love Italy,Italians,their culture ,their hospitality ,their cuisine. By the way, I recommend the restaurant "Bacco" incredibly tasty and affordable in prices. We are grateful for the opportunity to see the beauty🇮🇹.

Villa Noseda is an absolute gem of a find on Lake Como. Not only is the view and location absolutely stunning the hosting family truly provides you a luxurious experience with a beautiful breakfast spread, concierge like services, daily room cleaning and water during your stay. We are only hoping to come back to Lake Como soon so we can stay at Villa Noseda once again.

Carlo and family's accommodation deserves 10 stars!! We got the ground floor room and we couldn't be happier since it has a direct connection to the kitchen, very practical! The private room and bathroom were spotless. The kitchen is a luxury, I have never seen such a complete and neat kitchen, you will not miss anything! Breakfast of 10! And most importantly, Carlo's attention! Always attentive and giving us advice on what places to visit. The location is perfect, as it connects with several important points of Italy to visit. Thank you very much, we felt right at home.

I have stayed at the Hotel Acquarello every time I stay in Lugano if it is not fully booked. Right in the centre either restaurants shops and everything around it. It is right by the funicular that round from Lugano Central Station. If you don’t like it’s rumbling don’t stay there but it doesn’t bother me. Fair prices a good breakfast and friendly staff await.

Our stay at Marco's apartment was great! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and pleasant, just as advertised. Check in was flexible and convenient, and also at check out Marco made an effort to come towards us as much as he could. Marco himself was available, friendly and patient, and helped us with everything we wanted – even ordering pizza for us and recommended us an excellent cocktail bar that was exactly to our liking! Unfortunately, he was on vacation, so we didn't meet him in person, nor did we get the massage he usually offers to guests. Instead, his lovely parents welcomed us – even though they don't speak English, they welcomed us with a huge smile, with a big heart and a real willingness to communicate and help, which was very exciting. The surroundings of the apartment were picturesque, quiet and relaxed, with a lovely view of the lake and a sense of nature. There's a supermarket within walking distance and a train station, and it's very convenient. We chose to arrive by car, and it definitely gave us freedom of movement and flexibility, but you can definitely get by without a car – depending on your travel style. In conclusion – warm, personal and pleasant hosting, in an apartment that offers real tranquility. I highly recommend it!

We stayed for one night at Paola's place after spending a day at the thermal baths of San Pellegrino. The place was clean, heated, and cozy. We had a great night's sleep and a really spectacular view the next day. I recommend it warmly

Unbelievable! The place was brand new and the people were more than friendly. We were welcomed by two people that shows us everything they made us feel right at home and although it was already 10 o’clock in the evening, they even offered to cook us a meal. The room was immaculate and breakfast was amazing, this place is on my Airbnb shortlist as of now.

Elena was a kind and welcoming host. She gave us lots of recommendations and we had a very comfortable stay. The views from Elena’s place are amazing. We accessed the surrounding towns by foot, it was around 30 minutes to Varenna and Bellano.

We stayed with Concetta for the second time and it was even nicer. The room was nicely decorated and we were expecting beautiful tulips on the new desk. Since we were coming with our baby, Concetta had provided us with a baby bed with bedding, as on the first visit. It was all very lovingly prepared. We were also allowed to meet the family on our second visit and have rarely met such wonderful people who have shown a sincere interest. We will definitely come back and maybe even stay longer. The connection to the highway is just perfect. The bathroom is also very well equipped. We visited downtown by bus. The journey took 8 minutes and cost €2. Bus stop is about 150m away. Right next to the accommodation you will find numerous catering options. A very clear recommendation.

We had a great evening and night at Marco's place. We came by bus from Como. Marco was very welcoming and attentive! What a pleasure to be received by a local person with whom we can chat! The view is beautiful, the place very soothing and the accommodation very clean and functional. Thank you again Marco, we will not forget the smell of jasmine, your kindness and your humor!

Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.

La Casetta is a very clean apartment and cared for in every detail. It really feels like you're at home. It is very quiet and the rooms are spacious and bright. Francesca is very kind and caring . Breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. I hope to be able to stay at this stylish property again.
