Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Ohrid

This was the perfect location to enjoy all that Ohrid has to offer. The view was as spectacular as shown, and the outdoor space was especially wonderful

difficult to find no street number in Albania and difficult gsm connections (I had not expected) so we called ourselves several times, useful answer always pleasant but we ended up finding greeted by his aunt Suzanne, a kind and very attentive person, the surroundings are interesting to visit and the authenticity of the accommodation was something we love real people...thank you

Spacious family home in a heritage property on the lake front. Unusual to find this kind of property. Central location on the lake, restaurants, supermarket and bakeries 2 mins walk. Locally arranged parking. Responsive host. Great for our family. Folk music from local restaurants at night added to the charm.

The place is just magical if you are looking for calm and (immediate) proximity to the lake. Off season, it feels serene and privileged. Special mention for Filip's father who wonderfully welcomed us and responded to all our requests (or even more)!

We spent only 1 night at this place, but it was totally awesome! Super clean, spacious, well located, beautiful and, I must mention, has the softest towels in all AirBnBs in Albania. 😁 Kristjan, thank you so much for having us! 🫶

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived at Villa Petra: a beautiful and super cosy house in an outstanding area of beauty. We had everything we needed and the hosts were some of the most responsive and friendlier hosts I have ever come across, sometimes responding within seconds from asking them a question!!! It’s hard to describe the tranquility and unique charm of the house and the area, you just have to experience it for yourselves to appreciate how precious they are. Thanks so much to the hosts for everything, such speedy and helpful responses, while on holiday in somebody else’s home, are very hard to find, they stand out. Go visit the Prespes area and stay at Villa Petra, you will not want to leave, ever! I promise you that.

Staying at Gordana's was a pleasure. The apartment is clean and located in a beautiful area. Beds are very comfortable. We highly recommend staying at this place, it was really cool !

This is a couple traveling for a long time. I was the best host during my trip. If you're looking at the listing, make a reservation soon. It is right in front of the lake and has restaurants and supermarkets around, making it the best place to stay for a month. Thank you so much for waiting for the host to wait at the bus terminal to take you to the accommodation and explain how to use the accommodation supplies. Please always respond quickly and kindly and take care of your guests so that they can stay comfortably. I would like to thank you again Next time I come to Ohrid again, I want to stay.

Generally everything was good. Check-in was challenging a bit, but Darko helped us in every step 👍 Apartment was completely clean and its location was amazing. You can find everything you need in Apartment Darki for a short stay 🙂

This place had such a lovely view. Very peaceful and relaxing on the balcony. It was a very quiet and cozy stay.

Very nice stay and one of the cleaniness we have stayed in---we travel a lot. Roland personally checked us in and showed us around the apartment. Also, he assisted us finding a delicious bakery in town. Thank you, Roland, for such a delightful stay. We will absolutely be returning in the near future! : )

The apartment is fantastic. Cozy, all the amenities you need for a short stay, including a washer. Zorica was a great host, proactive, very pleasant, and very organized. I had very clear and detailed instructions even before I get there, all that was left for me was to arrive and get settled in. The apartment is spotless, and has that beautiful "beach vibe", mixtures of blue, sand and white colors. I'm rating this 11 out of 10, well done.

Ljupka was a very friendly host. He provided detailed explanations to all our questions. The house was as it appeared in the photos. It's in a perfect location. Within walking distance of everywhere.

Mrs. Maria and her husband are amazing. Even though we only stayed at their place two nights, we figured out a lot. Kind , always available and helpful, they accommodated us in their lovely guesthouse and we didn't have the slightest complaint. The house will be our priority on future expeditions to their places! I recommend booking the “Steki” place that is offered as an extra amenity if you're company.

Summary: Superb experience! Maria's place is wonderful, situated in the centre of Agios Germanos, a lovely mountain village nestled above the Prespa Lakes. The property is located next to a little stream and one minute walk to the local Taverna. Maria and Thanos are perfect hosts, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Once you walk through the gate into their courtyard, you find yourself in a quiet little oasis with a panoramic view on the surrounding mountains. The accommodation was lovely, a main apartment split onto two levels, spotlessly clean with everything you need plus some welcome gifts. Other breakout spaces on the property were also available to use, e.g. an outdoor kitchen and dining area and lounge room supplied with drinks. We had breakfast on the lawn every day and Maria makes delicious local savoury pies and cakes. They also have an organic vegetable garden behind the main property where they grow just about anything you can think of. We were invited to fill a basket with aubergine, spring onion, courgettes, beans, potatoes, beetroot, cucumber, tomatoes ... The Prespa Lakes area is a paradise for nature lovers. Bird watching, hiking, boat tours on the Great Prespa Lake, or just a picnic next to one of the little streams. All this in a spectacular landscape of a tranquility that has become so rare in our days... And the nights are fresh, even in the hot Greek summer, so good sleep is guaranteed! If you want to reset and reconnect with nature, this is the place to be.

We had a great time staying at Maria's place! The house was spacious in a great location, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Maria was very hospitable and available whenever needed.

The house was a traditional almost 100 years old, putting you into the mood of the village and the surroundings. It was clean with a beautiful view of the Lake.

We booked both houses for 10 adults and we are so glad we did it. The houses are amazing and are within a few minutes walking distance from the public beach and the camp. The yard is very good and we enjoyed sitting outdoors even when there was a storm. I would highly recommend especially if you are booking both houses for a larger group or two families.
