The Howard Street Home is an original building from 1859. Don't be fooled by the modest home-like exterior. HSHis an exclusive B&B with two beautifully decorated rooms available for daily, weekend or weekly rental. Common areas include a Victorian parlor, reading room, and a front room. There are three yards available for guests to enjoy; two include the 100-mile view from a 6400 foot elevation and one includes a view of the famous Ophir Mine. “Spirits Rest Here” and we welcome you! One room in our B&B is Mama's Room; a tribute to my Mama, Gabrielle, a native of Belgium. This is a replica of the bedroom she shared with my father which is a European boudoir d'amour, complete with all the things she treasured. A sexy bed, private entrance with private bathroom including purple shower/tub, toilet, sink, romantic art work and statues, lavish draperies, beautiful view outside the private entrance, and all the elements for a night of love...no children allowed in this room, ever!

This is a great couples retreat for 21 and older, no children or infants. I do live on the premises with my dog. Rustic river Rock wood burning fireplace with jacuzzi and magical backyard where bears have roamed. Hiking in the summer. Barbecue grill is available and firepit in backyard. Colorful aspen trees in backyard during the fall. You can snow shoe out the backyard or even cross-country ski. Only 5 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort, 6 miles from the casinos and 5 miles to the lake.
