A really lovely place to stay. Although we arrived early we were welcomed in and had all our questions answered. Gonzales was so kind helping us to find a taxi to the fumery towers. In the morning he got up super early to make us a delicious breakfast before we caught our bus and also packed us some fruit for our road trip. The hotel is very centrally located. I highly recommend it.

Oswaldo’s place is beautiful! I am a traveler who likes to be completely secluded in beautiful surroundings and far away from the city and this gave me just that & more! The space is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and birds, and the lake view from the balcony is amazing. It’s a 10 minute motor bike from amantani port, 20 sols or you can walk for an hour or so. The beds were super comfortable, it felt warm. The food was delicious, everything local which is the best part and the fresh munya tea is amazing :) Oswaldo is very friendly. Really recommend this place! Thank youu oswaldo!

Good place, clean building!

100% recommended, superior to the expectations generated, an old building restored and conditioned in very good condition, located in the entire central square (Plaza de Armas) at the front of the cathedral in a safe area and surrounded by places and establishments of interest to tourists, very good value for the service and personal treatment (as in most of the region) is very good, friendly people and attentive to resolve concerns.

Yoel and his family have a beautiful and unique place. Yoel was especially helpful in contacting guides, the taxi and any other help. He was always willing to pick us up, drop us off and help connect us to our guides and activities. You will not be disappointed in this location, place or meeting Yoel. We had a very nice stay! The food was good, we were able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there!

This place was cool! Easy to find when searching “Hostal Sol y Lago” and lovely accommodation. Check in was easy and there are 2 kittens, a puppy and 3 llamas on the property. Breakfast is included and is pretty good (bread, jam, fruit, eggs, coffee/tea & juice). The price was good for western standards, but copacabana is really cheap, so it was okay compared to what else was there. Would come back for sure.

The accommodation is just amazing. With a prime location, I highly recommend it. In addition to this, Yoel comes to pick you up at the port in a very well-prepared boat, a very attentive host. We asked for dinner and wine to be brought to us, warm and delicious. I would certainly repeat again

Everything was perfect. Calixto and his wife were lovely. We ate like home. Calixto even took care of organizing our trips to the surrounding islands. It's a simple and warm place that I would highly recommend.

The staff were really welcoming & friendly. They changed our room from a twin to a double which was greatly appreciated. They also let us store our luggage and wait in the lobby before our bus came which was a life saver as it was raining all day in Puno! Breakfast was a continental buffet.

After a few days traveling in Peru I must say that this was my best stay. My partner and I were able to rest with those nice views. They were on the lookout for everything. They can give you breakfast for 15 soles and lunch or dinner for 35 soles. Then you have to take into account the cost of the boat towards the lodging (20 soles per person round trip). All in all, we had a great time. Her family and he are very nice. Thank you 😀
