Cottage holiday rentals in Lara

We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

Lovely quaint cottage for a restful getaway. We particularly enjoyed a soak in the spa with some wine after a long walk. Very comfy bed and thoughtful touches.

The cottage is just as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, very charming. Only stayed one night. Sorry we didn’t plan to stay longer.

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

Was a beautiful one night stay, my wife and I enjoyed sitting by the fire and just spending time together in the little loungeroom. Was a great place to just get away from life and enjoy each others company. Anne-Marie was a really good host with helpful instructions everywhere and very simple entry and checkout. We'll be back one day

Nice place with great amenities. The hot tub was amazing. The fire place was perfect under the stars and the tent was a special touch. Inside the house, the rooms were spacious, the bed was comfy and they even provide some board games. There’s also a big driveway for the cars to park securely inside. It’s pet friendly and the check in was also flexible. The location is great for exploring as everything is a short drive away. Some considerations and feedback for improvements: - The internet was slow, I wasnt able to take calls properly for work - There is no dish washer, and you must wash the dishes by hand. - Inside the tent could use some minor touch ups Overall we enjoyed our stay and the place had lots to offer.

My family loved our stay. Accommodation was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. Great for the kids to play in a safe a secure house. Short walk to the shops and beach which was perfect for us. I would love to book another stay and would highly recommend Terry’s house to friends and family.

A great spot just a short walk from the dog beach and the home is comfortable and a lovely spot to relax. Just note the property is not fully fenced if you are bringing a dog. Great communication and a lovely part of the world to holiday.

Such a beautiful place to stay, super peaceful and quiet. Far enough way from busy areas but only less than 5 minutes to any main shops, cafes or the beach. Loved how clean the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were. Definitely recommend looking through their travel guide and to stargaze on the bean bags in the front garden. Absolutely beautiful :)

We had a wonderful time staying here. The place is cozy and clean. Most importantly, the host is so nice, attentive and responsive!

Loved my stay at the Bells Beach Cottages. Jacqueline and Gavin are lovely and responsive hosts who made the stay welcoming, easy and comfortable. The surrounding property is lovely and peaceful, lots of bird life and even spotted some kangaroos! Bells Beach is very close by and Torquay is not far to grab supplies. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Exactly what you want in a cottage - private, curious sheep outside the front window, a pre made fireplace so easy to get going, breakfast in the fridge to cook. Charming place, recent Reno on the bathroom all modern. Lovely host and one of the few really quiet places we could find in the area.

A beautiful, relaxing and homely stay. The space was very cosy with the log fire for a wintry weekend away. Lovely extra touches with fresh farm eggs and homemade strawberry jam in the fridge for us. Thank you Madeleine for your great hospitality.

Loved the property. The view from the deck was a highlight. Jen was incredible host.

Lovely place which felt like a little slice of heaven. Jo and Rob were friendly and responsive and even helped with a personal request even though they didn't have to. Their house is beautifully decorated and we had such a restful stay there.

The cottage is in a very good location. The no-through road kept the area quiet and the park in across the road was useful for quick dog runs. The local shopping village was an 8-min walk. Lots of playgrounds and parks around too! Highly recommend.

Fabulous cottage with plenty of space, a great vibe, neat and tidy, one street back from the beach. We stayed for a friends surprise birthday in Mt Eliza and diving at Rye Pier, transport was easy, also a large carport for the car. Great price for two people.

The place is exceptionally clean with a stylish touch. Julie is friendly and highly informative. I would definitely return if I visit the area again. Highly recommend this place to everyone

We had a wonderful two night stay at Erin's. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with kitchenware - everything you could need. The wood fire was a particular treat as was the presence of the horses and Molly (who is adorable). If you want to get a sense of Australia (and have a rental car which can get you to the nearby station at Diamond Creek) this would be a great place to explore Melbourne from.
