Holiday rentals in Las Cuevecitas

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

The apartment is beautiful, even better than what's shown in the photos. The views are spectacular from every room in the house and we found everything very clean, it looked like we were premiering the house. Luisa is a super friendly, flexible host who made everything very easy for us. If we return to Tenerife we will come back for sure and I'm already recommending it to all my friends!!!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The welcome was absolutely fantastic, and Mauro and Caroline’s hospitality exceeded all expectations. They were always warm, kind, and easy to talk to — we really enjoyed our conversations with them. The accommodation itself was spotless, tidy, and incredibly cozy — we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is very convenient, with the highway just a short drive away, making it easy to get around. All in all, it was a fantastic vacation, and I would gladly come back anytime. This is an absolute hidden gem. The view alone is worth it. Maria and Peter answered all my questions right away. We usually book day of or day before and they answered all my questions and booked last min. They even went out of their way to get my mom balloons and a tiara for her birthday. She loved the attention. We will definitely be returning with my whole family. Thank you

Beautiful, modern villa with a huge garden full of flowers, a palm tree, grass and cozy seating areas with fire pit. The location is quiet and remote; there is little to do in the immediate vicinity, but by car you can easily reach spectacular rock formations, natural swimming pools on the coast, beaches, a nature reserve, volcanic mountains and a charming coastal town. An ideal base for adventurous travelers or large families who also want to relax by the private pool, the outdoor kitchen with BBQ or the cozy fire pit. The host was very friendly, thought well and always responded quickly. We felt immediately welcome. An absolute must if you love peace, space and nature, away from the tourist crowds.

Margot’s place was perfect for our family holiday. The pool was a huge hit with both us and our little girl. Margot has thought of everything, from pool towels to sun hats. Margot was great at communication and gave us some local recommendations too. We couldn’t recommend the place more.

The house itself was even better than in the pictures, which is saying something because the photos already looked great. Walking in, we were blown away by how spacious, beautifully designed, and comfortable everything was. But the real showstopper? The view. It was simply stunning—something out of a dream. Whether it was morning coffee or sunset drinks, we couldn’t get enough of it. We honestly believe this might be the best location on the whole island. It felt peaceful, private, and perfectly connected to the natural beauty around us. We left feeling more than happy—completely recharged. Highly, highly recommend!

Our stay was much better than we expected. In addition to being nice and quiet, the accommodation had small useful and appreciated details. Miguel was very kind and attentive, we will return soon and it will be to this safe accommodation. Highly recommended!!
