Loved it! It’s right next to the new lava stream and you can hike up to the top of the volcano. Two minor things: two large dogs next door who bark a lot in the mornings and evenings. Plus the lighting seems to be flickering in every room which is a bit weird on the eyes after a time. Apart from that really great base to check out the south, east and west coast of La Palma.

Communication with Holidu was a bit sluggish. On the other hand, the communication here with our actual host is excellent, always helpful, always solution-oriented, always friendly. The view is fantastic and Javier also has many great ideas that he likes to implement here. He got some of what was missing in terms of amenities for us. Everything you wanted to know about the island where you can buy something... he made you helpful recommendations. As a welcome, there was a huge fruit basket and wine just great, especially after arriving with kids, where you have to get something. We lived and worked here and are completely happy with our choice!

Javier is a great host and always available. The house is in great condition with a fantastic quiet location, the ideal starting point for hikes on the island. Ana is a very, very lovely and reliable, friendly housekeeper and greenkeeper. She was always in a good mood and helpful! We were on site with two dogs. Everything was really great! We would definitely come back. absolute recommendation!!

We felt very comfortable. Place was very clean in a quiet area. The host Nico was also friendly and helpful. He would come by from time to time to check on his garden. He showed it to us with great pleasure and also gave us a lot of his vegetables without us asking. We were also able to reach his wife Marija directly during a power outage and she was able to help us. We highly recommend it.

Susan is a kind and helpful host, always ready to give useful advice on what to visit in the area. She made sure from the very beginning that we didn't miss anything. I recommend their place!

The house was nicer than in the pictures. Clean and tidy. Nice view of the sea. The bathroom on the second floor was nice but a bit inconvenient. The volcano is right up from the house, important to know for those who don't like it. Great value for money.
