Centrally located with easy access to sights and scenes of Kathmandu. 15 minutes drive from the airport, 10 minutes drive to the center of the tourist area. Pashupatinath Temple is just about 5 to 7 minutes away. Boudhanatha stupa is also about a 10 minute drive away. The apartment is very comfortably appointed and has a very warm and pleasant vibe to it.

It was a great pleasure to meet Naoko and her family. Before my stay, Naoko thoughtfully sent me a detailed guide introducing the nearby places, which was incredibly helpful. During my stay, whenever I had any questions, she responded promptly and kindly. Every morning, opening the window to see the beautiful scenery was truly healing. The house assistant also did a wonderful job with the cleaning — she even found an earring I had lost for several days! The spotless fans must have taken a lot of effort to clean as well. Everything was just amazing ^ω^. I look forward to meeting 風の家 again next time.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff and hosts were really friendly and helpful. The property is really really pretty. The room however was kind of small but it was still doable. Loved breakfast and staff who were really helpful. I don’t remember the guy’s name (he is the one who stays at the property) definitely deserves a shoutout. He was really helpful greeting us really well. Sweet boy!

The property is conveniently located near the main street, but it was peaceful. I enjoyed good sleep, and loved waking up to the songs of birds! The restaurant in the property is lovely, and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and I would love to stay again : )

I felt right at home. Lovely people, I felt very well looked after. Sumu is amazing cook, I enjoyed the food and teas that she kindly offered to me. My plans changed and I had to modify my booking, there was no issue in that. I highly recommend Sumu’s place 😊
