Cherrywood Cottage

TRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my second year staying at the Cherrywood Cabin in Northport for our annual fishing trip, and it was just as great as the first time. The cabin is super clean, cozy, and has everything you could possibly need. You can tell Sherry, the host, really puts thought into making sure guests are comfortable—she’s covered all the little details that make a stay easy. Sherry is also incredibly nice and easy to talk to. She’s friendly and welcoming, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the place and her guests. It’s the perfect spot to come back to and unwind after a long day on the water. I already know I’ll be back next year. If you’re heading up to Northport and want a quiet, comfortable place to stay, I can’t recommend this cabin enough.

2-bed cottage on Cable's Bay with private beach

PriyamRating, 5 stars9 months ago
First of all the location is just mind blowing. So quite and so private. Access to almost private beach. The cottage was cozy and had all the basic amenities that one would need for a small vacation with family. Whatever query we had Alec always responded within a few minutes. Was very happy with this stay. The only thing i would point out is that the exterior of the place needs a little cleaning and maintenance and i wish the kitchen had a little more utensils but thats about it. The lake is right across the street but not the best spot for bathing as its full of stones and too shallow but still beautiful to just sit and relax.

NorthShore, Modern Cabin 656

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very modern space with all the amenities in quiet, natural surroundings. The home was in an area of upper Michigan that is in less-travelled with a quaint small town with good restaurants and small grocery store. All the more-travelled areas are in easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider going back!

Enjoyed our stay at Finnwood and the Leelanau area!! Cute cabin tucked away in a quiet setting! Trails through the woods took us to cherry orchards! So much to do in the area! Was extremely hot last wkend but it’s Michigan and welcome the earth and sun!

The Gallery Guesthouse

MatthewRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had an excellent stay! The guest house is set back in the woods and it’s like staying in a peaceful treehouse. The interior looks brand new and it’s spotless and extremely clean. They added lots of much appreciated little touches which made it feel welcoming. It was great to chat with Jim in his art studio and we purchased some art for our home to remind us of our trip home North. One of the nights severe storms were forecasted and Jim made sure we were aware and he made sure we had everything we needed to weather the storms.

Quiet home w/ Lake Michigan view & steps from town

LaurenRating, 5 stars9 months ago
If I could distill the spirit of Northern Michigan into one place, it would be Keenan and Kristen’s bungalow in Glen Arbor. This isn’t just an Airbnb stay—it’s an experience, a journey, a love letter to the outdoors and the human spirit. Keenan’s passion for nature and Kristen’s philanthropic heart fill every corner. From the moment we arrived, it became clear that this was a sanctuary, a reflection of their lives. The hosts welcome you like an old friend. Keenan’s love for the outdoors is clear in the décor, where rustic meets modern. Reclaimed wood floors, salvaged from an old barn, add a charm that speaks of adventures past. Each piece of furniture feels carefully chosen for comfort and sustainability. The hosts’ enthusiasm for nature is contagious, and staying here feels like living in the heart of Michigan’s beauty. A short walk from Glen Arbor’s beaches, where the waves of Lake Michigan lull you into serenity, it’s truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
