A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Really the perfect house for the holidays. Great reception and lots of small details. The house is in a dream location, lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped. There's really nothing missing here. We had a great 2-night stay at Sunken Escapes. The location was private and peaceful and the unit was exceptionally clean, modern, well-equipped and organized. It is off the beaten path but an easy 10-12 drive to groceries, etc., which we appreciated. This is a very unique experience in a beautiful part of the province and we would definitely book again! Laura’s place was like paradise. Relaxing, quiet, clean, felt like I was at home but away from home. She is without a doubt, the most responsive person I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb super accommodating, extremely kind. I can’t wait to book my next visit and I definitely cannot wait to go back there in the summertime. The downstairs was so much fun. I haven’t played pool in years Laura‘s places is also super modern and just absolutely stunning. I feel like I can’t say enough, everything was very easy to find. This place had everything you need. if you’re looking for a place to go relax with a beautiful view and have privacy, this is your spot.

Me and my husband came here for a weekend to celebrate an anniversary. We stay at airbnbs quite often, but this one far exceeded our expectations. Its rare that I wake up and genuinely wish I could stay longer. The pictures don't do this place justice - the view was breathtaking. I felt like I was in an oasis in the middle of nowhere, without actually being in the middle of nowhere. There is a new screened in porch with plenty of seating that you can open directly to the seacan by opening the large bay door. We spent the entirety of our weekend sitting on the porch, listening to the rain, watching netflix, playing board games and napping. The view from the sauna is spectacular and there is a wood-fired hot tub (next to the sauna which we used as a cold plunge) and an electric hot tub. I would come back here in a heartbeat - I absolutely loved it.

Rob’s lakeside cottage was beautiful! The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The outdoor space included a stunning stone patio, a fire pit and water equipment ( paddle board and floats) to enjoy the beautiful lake.
