Unsere Tage in Ludiano waren wunderschön und ausgesprochen erholsam. Das urige Rustico ist liebevoll ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Selten aber findet man in so einem alten Gemäuer ein so modernes und gemütliches Bad. Den schönen Garten mit Blick ins Tal haben wir zu jeder Tageszeit genossen. Auch unser Hund hat sich pudelwohl gefühlt und in Yuri 🐕 einen sehr freundlichen Kollegen gefunden. Das beste aber war neben all den schönen Biketouren und Wanderungen der nette Kontakt zu Sandro, ein ausgesprochen herzlicher und sympathischer Gastgeber. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This home is in a lovely location with the most gorgeous views. It's an amazing place to get away from the noise and bustle of a lively city. We enjoyed both of the double-decker balconies constantly and made the best memories!

Sehr schöne Umgebung und Aussicht. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind telefonisch sehr gut erreichbar und sehr Hilfsbereit.

Natalie is wonderful person. She came to pick us up from the train station which was so helpful. She then gave us an overview of the place with clear instructions. The house is wonderful, it has a cottage cozy feel which the kids loved. Clean and tidy, comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Location is the excellent, amazing views, and close to station for train, bus and gondola rides making it very convenient. We will definitely stay here again. 10/10

Highlight of our family vacation to Switzerland! Our family of 4 enjoyed the Bernese Oberland area and Grindelwald was a great base for exploring. We enjoyed coming home to this Airbnb where we could relax after a day of hiking. The home had everything we needed, lots of space indoors and outdoors, and was clean and nicely furnished. Kenzie was a great host and easy to communicate with. This home was just far enough outside of town to be peaceful with great views of alpine meadows, other chalets and the mountains. We had a car and it was convenient to go to the center of town, and to the Grindelwald Terminal which had lots of parking. Would stay here again!

A truly special and memorable stay! Sleeping under the stars in the fresh mountain air was such a unique experience — especially when it’s 32°C in the valley and a cool, refreshing 10–20°C up in the hills. The outdoor bed was surprisingly cozy, and waking up to birdsong and alpine views felt magical. The location is already within the hiking zone, so it’s very convenient for nature lovers. Just a gentle note: since the lodge is isolated, and there’s no one around at night, it might feel a bit unfamiliar for those who aren’t used to sleeping so close to nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

We booked a two-night stay at Markus place in August 2024. It is a cozy chalet in a charming Swiss village with a handful of houses. The place was clean, comfortable, with a mix of beautiful traditional woodwork and modern kitchen and bathroom at the same time. The village is very quiet so you are also expected to respect the locals and not get too loud. We had 3 kids with us and that was not a problem for us. Although there are no stores or restaurants within the village itself, we found it very conveniently located, we were able to easily reach nearby towns to explore mountains, lakes or go out for dinner. Everything was under 30 min away and we managed to explore lots during our short stay. Overall highly recommend as a base for exploring the area if you love peace, quiet and falling asleep with cow bells. 🇨🇭🧀🐄

This is one of the best AirBnb places I have stayed anywhere in the world. It’s an amazing space in a stunning alpine village up on the side of a mountain. Everything you could want is there. All is clean and well taken care of. We had 6 people and felt like we had so much space for everyone. Wonderful stay!

Wir hatten ein super Wochenende in Grindelwald und haben uns im Chalet Steinegg gleich wohl gefühlt. Das Team Steinegg hat Fragen und Nachrichten sehr schnell beantwortet und war unkompliziert und immer freundlich. Die Unterkunft war für uns als grosse Gruppe genau richtig und gut ausgestattet. Es hatte genügend Geschirr und auch grosse Schüsseln. Wir können das Chalet & die Lage / schöne Aussicht sehr empfehlen und waren rundum zufrieden. 😊

Great place in a very serene setting. No neighbors, just a few cows with bells a few hundred feet away. only about 500 ft. from the cabin is the Bort station. so going down to the village is very easy. we had to use the fireplace and the wood furnace, it was actually very unique and cool experience. definitely recommend for people who want to be more with nature and further away from the business of the town. there is a nice automatic espresso machine with ability to throth milk, so we made cappuccinos and latte every morning.
