Beautiful place to stay! Lan provided lots of tea, coffee and water for us. Bedding was great, views stunning. Lots of firewood for the fireplace as well, great cooking amenities. Great for a family stay or a weekend away

A classic Australian beach shack that was great for little kids, the dog and a special bench seat with one of the great views.

Host was responsive and proactive, keen to give guests a positive experience. House is well located, walkable distance to shops and restaurants and the beach. Thanks for having me! Will definitely visit again.

She provides a terrific dog-friendly property and gorgeous “home away from home”❣️ From the moment we drove in a smile was on my face… The house is cheerful on the outside and charmingly appointed on the inside. Melissa has provided for every need, want and desire! Starting with a Gift Basket 🤩 Great bed, quality towels and beautiful bathroom products. Kitchen has a fully stocked pantry and fridge! Wonderful 🙏 Lounge is comfortable and cosy. So warm. Thanks for the Games and Record Player!!! Loved it 💝 No issues with WiFi or TV choices either 👏 So close to shop and the beach. Our beautiful fur-babies loved running around the property free 😅 And we loved warming ourselves by the fire out back. Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful place! We had a fantastic stay with my family —everything was exactly as described. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was welcoming and very helpful.

The house with the very special decoration is unique and very comfortable to stay for a couple of days, especially due to the very comfortable bed in the main bedroom . To relax in the beautiful garden with an amazing bird life the house is perfect. To make the chill out complete, the two hammocks you can put up on the deck were fantastic! And you can go for a relaxed swim on the very close swimming beach. For people who love surfing the most amazing surf beach in the first surf nature reserve is just a three minute drive away. The waves were just spectacular when we were there. If you want to eat out, it’s just a 20 minute walk on two minute drive to the restaurant in the entrance of the urbanization, It’s really recommendable. We had just had 3 perfect days!

We had the best stay at Steve’s place! We had three families and it was perfect. A huge living entertaining space downstairs and another large space upstairs. Big bedrooms, split con systems upstairs and downstairs in the living rooms and space heaters in the main bedroom and both queen rooms upstairs. About a ten minute walk from Coles/the top of the main strip and 8 minute walk from Mon Dieu (great brunch/coffee), location was also really handy. Lots of amenities (table tennis, kids toys, swings outside) and Netflix on the telly. Steve was super responsive and we will definitely be back!

Great place with a view of the Bass Coast to the south with sunset, and to the north with sunrise from the master bedroom. Within walking distance of the Kilcunda Trestle Bridge for photographers. Convenient base for exploring the Bass Coast from Phillip Island to Inverloch and beyond. Vicky provides helpful descriptions of the local restaurants and grocery stores in the area making it super easy to get set up. I will be back as I could only stay a few days and still have lot's of exploring to do.

My group of friends and I had a fabulous weekend celebrating our milestone birthdays. The house is very comfortable for large groups and the spa was a great social space. The heater kept us cosy and we had a very enjoyable time!

What a great stay. The accommodation was perfect. Eight of us girls stayed over a weekend to celebrate my birthday and there was loads of room for everyone. It’s just like the photos, even better. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because it was too cold, but was still nice to look at. The house is surrounded by loads of running/walking tracks, cafes and things to do. It was such a great stay. My only negative comment is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Greg and Maree’s place was exactly what me and my friends were looking for. A good price being right by the beach and with a pool. Greg and Maree were so helpful and responsive and kind. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away.

We have stayed at Jodie's place 2 or 3 times now, my kids love it, we walk to the beach in the morning and if hot enough, pool for rest of the day. It has everything that suits us as a family including the oval and skate park across the road.

The accommodation was a perfect size. Main bedroom is great, large with its own bathroom and enclosed outside area. Shared bedrooms maybe a bit small but they're just for sleeping anyway. Plenty of living space, an extra area for kids. Lots of toys and games and a billiard table. The swim spa wasn't heating for us but Chris the host did warn us due to unforeseen circumstances and offered a refund if we wished to cancel. Very close to a beautiful enclosed beach, not very busy and good for swimming. Far enough away from 5he bustle of Cowes centre but close enough to walk or drive in for supplies. Chris was very prompt in replying. Overall, a very good experience and I recommend this accommodation for groups or families. Thank you Chris for offering your place.

The place was very comfortable and extremely handy being close to everything. Sally was very obliging to all our requests. We would fully recommend this place to anyone who is considering staying there!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very accommodating, offered us a last-minute booking with a discount and even allowed a late checkout, which we really appreciated. The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for us with more than enough room for everyone. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot spa, and had so much fun with the billiards and ping pong. It was also lovely to arrive to a complimentary bottle of wine, such a thoughtful touch! The property is also pet-friendly, which made it even more perfect for us. Highly recommended. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Debbie's house was is wonderfully located for beach access & a peaceful getaway. We were visited by Wallabies & Kookaburra's each day which was so special for our kids to experience. Cowes is a short drive for all amenities. We had a lovely time. Debbie's was responsive & very friendly & helpful host. We will definitely try to return in future.

Book this space! I have stayed in close to 40 Airbnb’s and this was by far the cleanest place and the attention to detail was immaculate. The kitchen was so well stocked with anything you could need and the quality of the utensils and crockery was top notch. We had a charcuterie board and there was even a board and cheese knives! The view was amazing & the access to the beach was so nice. It was so cozy at night with the heater and we appreciated the nice bathroom amenities & shower pressure. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing stay in phillip island.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! It was even more stunning in person – the photos truly don’t do it justice. The private garden was such a peaceful spot to relax, and the modern interior was fresh, stylish, and incredibly well-kept. Everything was spotless and felt really comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made cooking a breeze. It was clear a lot of thought went into making the space feel like a home away from home. Howard was a fantastic host – always responsive and helpful, replying within 10 to 15 minutes every time. I would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality getaway!

Tricia’s house was fantastic. It was clean, stocked and a really peaceful place to be close to the beach. This house felt like a home not a house. There was plenty of everything. Plenty of treats and everything you need to cook. Everything wasn’t locked away so you could get what you needed which I loved. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the beach was lovely and just 50 metres from the back gate literally ! Will definitely come back here. A really responsive and welcoming host. A pleasure. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs and down stairs if sharing with friends or extended family and great washing facilities for longer stays. I do not have one bad thing to say about this house. It does have stairs though so one has to be aware of this but you have an internal garage which is excellent and the bathroom has a heated floor ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a wonderful stay at Shac du Lac, we were on an extended visit from the Uk and it proved to be the perfect “bolt hole” while visiting our son and family in Newhaven. The listing was absolutely spot on, Deni was such an approachable and super friendly host & always available if needed and the “Welcome Goodies” were absolutely second to none. Thank you Deni for your care and attention to detail, we certainly hope to be back again xx

This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.
