Villa by the lake in a beautiful mansion park

Charming and clean villa on the lakefront in the tranquil park area of Härkälä Manor. Renovated and modernized with respect for the old. The vaulted cellars under the villa were built already at the end of the 16th century. There is a pier and a rowing boat on the lake shore. Nature trails and jogging terrain departing from the property's pedestrian bridge. Somero's downtown services are 2km walk away (4km by car). You can also check out the mansion's exhibition activities (museum card home). The owners live in the main building.

The cottage has electric heating and a fireplace. Firewood is included in the rental. Outdoor toilet is composting. There's a rowing boat and fishing gear. You can pick berries and mushrooms in the nearby forests. Great nature travel destinations like national parks are a short drive away. Distance from Helsinki, Turku or Tampere about 100 km.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
