Lovely place in the woods with plenty of possibilities for hiking, cycling, swimming and more. Charming and practical interior with nice terrace and BBQ. We had a fantastic weekend and definitely could ‘onthaasten’

We had a very relaxing and nice weekend in this gem in the trees. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage nice and cozy. The hot tub is a very great added value. Highly recommend!

It is a very nice, nicely decorated house with everything you need. A beautiful private garden in a beautiful, green area. Nicole is very hospitable and likes to think along. I definitely recommend this location!

We had a very nice stay despite the rainy weather! The place is fantastically quiet in a beautiful park with a great lake – a real highlight in sunshine. But our daughter learned to ride a bike here despite the bad weather and that was our goal!! The hosts have also thought of the little ones: There were plenty of toys, which made the rainy days much more enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Overall a very lovingly designed place with lots of peace and nature – we'd love to come back!

The cottage is lovely, very cosy and practical, with underfloor heating that kept the autumn weather outside. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and a short walk to the lake. Our kids appreciated the big box of Duplo and the beautiful nature on our doorstep.

Everything was perfect and exactly as promised in pictures and descriptions. We felt completely comfortable and loved every little detail in the house. Looking forward to seeing you again

The apartment was great! Exactly as described in the ad – clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Perfect location, close to all attractions. The host was very friendly, available, and quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

We had a truly great experience at this beautiful cottage! The place was very clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the comforts we could wish for. We especially appreciated the smart TVs in both the living room and the master bedroom, as well as the stunning tiled bathroom. The layout was thoughtfully designed—even though it’s a brick cottage and somewhat small, it never felt cramped and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The location is truly special—nestled in the middle of the woods, it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. The absence of cars on the property made it feel very safe and relaxing. Walking back to our car through the beautiful trees was a pleasure in itself. The cottage is conveniently located right across from the pool, and there are playgrounds both nearby and on the other side of the property, which was a pleasant surprise for families. Enjoyed our stay in this clean and functional duplex, well equipped, in a peaceful and wooded location, on the edge of a nature reserve. The pool was closed during our stay in May, but there is a public swimming pond accessible 10 min. walk away. Easy parking. Lots of easy access activities (walks, bike rentals, museums...). And Hilde is available to answer any questions. Good to know for families: there are no doors to the bedrooms and they communicate directly with the living room.

Everything about it is excellent

We stayed for several weeks and had a amazing time. The location is so serene and beautiful while still being near cities. Living in the middle of nature was very special. Something to consider is that the house is quite clairaudient, which was no problem for us at all. Overall we are super satisfied. We highly suggest this House.

What a wonderful stay in Lan Aken! The place is super comfortable and equipped with every comfort, with the jacuzzi and sauna as highlights. I had asked if they could do something special for my girlfriend's birthday and they arranged that fantastically, really a surprise with care and attention. Absolutely recommended, we'd love to come back someday!

An absolute dream and the purest relaxation in the sauna, the whirlpool and in the evening with the projector. The place is clean and very nicely decorated. Nearby is a small lake with a boathouse for delicious food. All round, a successful stay.

We enjoyed the place. Since it is fenced (as you can see in the photos) it is very private. Everything is available in terms of amenities (including a raclette <3). Claude responded directly to my concerns. Just as info for people who want complete peace: next door is a tennis court and we unfortunately caught an evening at which an 80s party and it was anything but quiet. But it doesn't do anything negative about the place. Thank you for everything, Claude!
