Mixon Keek, our bright and compact Chalet is positioned on the sunny side of the street in a quiet cul-de-sac, of mainly holiday chalets, with just a 4 mins stroll to Limeslade Bay. Turn right to the start of Gower Coast Path, from where you can get a "keek" of the Mixon buoy, the outer mark of the Mixon sands. Turn left to Mumbles, 17 min stroll to the heart of the village. Our location just above Limeslade, will suit walkers, cyclists, surfers, SUPs, swimmers, sailors and bucket & spaders.

Self contained space in colourful artist’s house

Our Airbnb is a colourful, cosy and creative private space attached to our mid century bungalow. It has its own entrance, kitchenette, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. We are in a quiet yet convenient, walkable location for the beaches, coast path, Oystermouth Castle, shops, restaurants & bars in the village of Mumbles. There is free private parking directly outside the house and we are within a 10 min walk of Mumbles village in one direction and the beaches in the other direction.

Dog friendly bungalow near the coastal path.

A modernised compact bungalow updated throughout offering comfortable space for a couple or two sharing, there is a smaller second bedroom with sofa bed. There is a large modern walk-in shower and comfortable kitchen lounge / living space. There is easy and safe parking directly opposite the property. Very close to the Welsh Coastal paths offering a unique access point some short distance away to allow fabulous walks to the nearby Langland Bay with its wonderful views and eating places.

Surfside Chalet is light, modern and beach-themed. Many guests comment that it's a real 'home from home' with everything needed. It was my first home so I’ve designed everything to be ‘space saving’. I loved living here and really enjoy welcoming guests to stay and enjoy the beautiful local area too. It is perfectly located to walk into Mumbles or around the cliff path to Langland Bay. Plus you’re only a short car journey away from the scenic areas of natural beauty that Gower has to offer.

One pet welcome, contact if you have more. 2 mins walk to the coast path, 5 mins to Limeslade bay, Fortes café & Castlemare restaurant. Langland bay is not much further. Mumbles’ restaurants, bars & shops are ~10 mins walk.

We swapped our lovely Narrowboat on the Grand Union for a cosy, pet friendly chalet for two with a distinct Narrowboat feel. Ideal for surfers and walkers, small, but perfectly formed with all the romance of a live aboard by the seaside. This land locked chalet has everything you could possibly need, tucked away between the Mumbles Cricket Club and the world famous Wales Coastal path. Direct Private access to the Coastal Path nearby, at the top of the road for Guests and Residents.

From the suite, you can see Mumbles Lifeboat Station to the right and Oystermouth Castle to the left. The suite features a king-size bed, corner sofa (also a sofa bed), full size fridge, table and chairs, a work desk, storage, shower room, 50” TV, and WiFi. Trampoline at the back. Please note, no cooking facilities are provided but we do have bowls, plates, glasses etc.

We had a lovely stay at the secret cabin and all the amenities were there that you would need. Gareth was very friendly and very responsive to any minor issues we had. Beautiful setting and very private. Only small criticism was that the sofa bed wasn’t comfortable.

Seaside Haven: Steps to Beach, Trails & Shops

We had a lovely comfortable stay in Mumbles at Grace's place and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to everything locally and there were plenty of options for food and shopping within walking distance. Parking isn't the easiest, but between the local car parks and free overnight street parking, we managed easily. Just be prepared for the cost of the car parks.

Langland Bay House

We had a lovely couple of days at Langland Head. We went efoiling, walked some of the coast patch, swam, wandered around Mumbles and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house is huge with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. which meant that the four 20+ year olds had space to hang out independently which worked really well for us. The house is obviously lived in from time to time but for us that just meant that it was really well appointed. It's in a great quiet location but close to the coast and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - we loved it. Thank you Alex

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. I wanted somewhere comfortable, close to a beach and a good base for exploring the Gower. Caroline’s place ticked all the boxes. She also provided plenty of helpful tips about other beaches, places to eat and have coffee. The property itself is clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. It is a short, steep walk to the beach but it’s also possible to take a car down and park if necessary.
