The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. A few feet from the cabin, you will have your own private deck with braai facilities. Enjoy!

Relax on the deck or sit around the fire pit while watching the game drift by. Solar powered lights, and a hot shower are a few of your limited comforts, as a bush lover enthusiast. Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

Lake Nadu is a bush retreat nestled in a security estate inside the ultra-private Vaalkop Dam Reserve, which is renowned as one of SA's best birdwatching and fishing hotspots. Also popular among grass taxonomists. For longer stays consider a day trip to Sun City. Catch and release fishing is allowed.

VlakkiesKraal Farmstay - Bosbok Tented Camp

The Bosbok Tented Camp is nestled in the Bush featuring it’s own rustic ablution - Donkey powered shower and a small outdoor work area with basin and a 2plate gas cooker. All basic cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. The Tented Camp has a Queen bed and two single beds. The Camp has access to a shared splash pool. Enjoy evenings at the Boma under the stars!
