I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The view is to die for, nature is abundant, the house is clean and spacious and flows perfectly. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and cozy, it feels like home! We love it so much we have extended our stay. A hidden gem! Tina and her family are amazing hosts.

The Farmhouse was beautiful and so peaceful, tucked into a beautiful field with plenty of flowers. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals, and the house had a wonderful, homey feel. Communication was easy and friendly. And the fireflies!! Highly recommend

Simply a great place to relax and enjoy the lake life, whether kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, boating or simply relaxing on the dock and decks. Lots to do in the area and Pemiquid Beach is like a slice of the Caribbean in Maine. Pemiquid Lighthouse offers great vistas of the coast. Only 35 minutes away is the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Booth Bay. Simply one of the best gardens in the country and now the home of 5 amazing Woods Trolls by Thomas Dambo. There is something for everyone including children of all ages. All of the other reviews cover the rest of what makes Owls Nest a great spot on the lake. Enjoy!

The house was great and matched what the description was. Very spacious and everything needed. Matthew was also very responsive when I had questions. Would stay there again for sure!

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

We had such an awesome time at the farmhouse! North pond is less than a half mile walk down a path on the property and it was excellent to fish, canoe and just hang out on the small beach. The house was clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our nearly month long stay. Rockland, Rockport and Camden are within a 20 minute drive so restaurants and stores are super close by. This was an amazing place to home base out of as we explored Maine and house hunted for our forever home. The hosts were so kind and very responsive to any questions we had! We highly recommend this house!

The location of this property is unbeatable. Close enough to town, but lakeside down a quiet wooded road. Kids were thoroughly entertained with the outdoors, and my son caught his first fish off the dock to round out a memorable weekend.

We had an amazing week at Jennifer’s home! The house is so beautiful and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to prepare meals and we made several. The view of the lake from the house was just beautiful! The living rooms and bedrooms were very comfortable. I asked Jennifer for some recommendations and she gave me so many great ones. We took several day trips, the house is in a central location to so many wonderful places of interest. Within two hours you can be in so many different places. We stay in a lot of Airbnb’s and this was one of our favorites to date. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Maine.

Clark’s Cove Farm is a magical place. The grounds, orchard, gardens and shore are beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. Tim was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. The carriage house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was pretty well furnished. We loved spending time on the deck when we were home. Great spot!!

Perfect stay, even during the winter!

Our stay at the River View Casita was wonderful! It’s a small, cozy space - perfect for two people. It’s very bright and airy, which we loved. The instructions to find the house were super helpful and after the first time - it was very easy to come and go. We did locate and walk down to the dock, which was beautiful, but it was just a little too cumbersome to bring chairs and food down there, so we didn’t spend as much time as we thought we would. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it!

We are three friends who wanted to go to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to photograph. We were there over a 3 day weekend in early May. Nancy's house was in a great location for us and only 10 minutes from the gardens. It is located at the end of a road. The view from the living room of the Sheepscott River was quite nice. The house was very clean which we appreciated and had all the amenities for cooking that we needed. The house is in striking distance of Boothbay and East Boothbay Harbor and Pemiquid Point. Highly recommend two restaurants: The Water Street Kitchen and Bar in Wiscasset and King Eider Pub and Restaurant in Damariscotta.

What a gorgeous, secluded Maine camp! We have been coming to Damariscotta Lake for decades and this is one of the most private, serene spots we have ever been. The camp is comfortable but rustic, with a beautiful deck overlooking the water. If you want to bring a boat, the public boat ramp is very close and the dock is great. It would be a great location for a canoe or kayak as well. The lake is shallow but we did go swimming off the dock, just bring water shoes if you are sensitive and/or some floaties! Loved this cabin, will book again!

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

Very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location on the pond. House was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, great amenities and a very comfortable bed. Even left us a case of water and a Smores kit. Any questions I had were answered within minutes

Janine’s place was beyond what I expected! The space is much bigger than the photos show and the surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful but close enough to surrounding towns & trails. My husband and I stayed here with a couple friends for a wedding and we had such a lovely time kayaking, reading by the lake, and making breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Elaina’s cabins are a real life sanctuary! First off—the landscape felt like you were in a forest all while being on a lake. There were an abundance of Lady Slippers, a delicate Maine flower that is rarely seen, and beautiful vegetation surrounding the property. The sunsets and sound of peepers + loons at night were calming and therapeutic. The swimming was excellent—and the dock is not tippy but rather sturdy and unlike most and therefore great for older folks or people with limited mobility. Elaina had so many extra amenities for the outside like kayaks, floats, two diving docks, life jackets, fishing poles, etc. She also provided thick, quality beach towels, regular towels, and linens. She even provides nail files, pumice stone, clippers—there is a washer and dryer with detergent, tons of cookware, flatware + plates/bowls. There are tons of games and books too. The smaller cabin, The Roost, was our haven for the week. We rebooked for August. Overall, 12/10! 🥹
