Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Linden

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

An oasis of calm and peace. A large space as many have mentioned and also a bit dated. That doesn’t take anything away from the experience though. Marie is delightful and proactive with communications. Reaching out when the weather became cold to see if we needed extra blankets was very thoughtful. The gift bags were also a lovely touch. We felt very safe and had everything we needed as well as clear instructions.

Michael is very committed, friendly, extremely helpful and easily accessible! The house offers plenty of space for a large group to enjoy and relax. The garden, the Braai area, is very inviting for hours. The decor throughout the house leaves nothing to be desired, everything is in impeccable condition, the rooms are very spacious, it just has plenty of space! The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need for cooking, baking, sizzling! The house has twice a week, on request more, a lady who takes care of the rooms, cleanliness and care of the house. She is a very hearty and lovely person, always happy to help out. The gardeners are very committed, keep the beautiful garden area very clean and very well maintained. In short: a little paradise. For us as golfers all the more because the house allows the view of the Parkview GC...always exciting to watch other golfers interpret the game for themselves.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. I had a wonderful stay at this BnB. Leroy was a great host — helpful, and welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean, safe, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I had everything I needed, and it was the perfect spot for me as a solo traveler. I also absolutely loved the area — Melville has such a great vibe with lovely cafés, shops, and a relaxed atmosphere. I had the pleasure of staying at Caryn’s place for two weeks. Everything was as described, the place was spotless thanks to the lovely lady Vicky. It’s close to shops and restaurants. The garden was nice and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place. Hope to stay there again.

We loved staying here! The host are hospitable and very friendly. They have a bag in the garage, that my husband loved. If I would say the place needs something, it would be a heated blanket. Other than that, the gas heater worked fine in the living room area.

The place is full of greenery and peaceful in a secure location, even enjoyed my evening walk. We enjoyed our stay and it is also quiet place to work from home.
