Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

Our stay at Mary's was everything we hoped for and more! Such a lovely home in a bucolic village along the Firth of Forth - we loved it! Close to the train to Edinburgh, Glasgown and Troon; close to motorways heading to points north, and a quiet town for breakfast by the water. It provided us with a great base for seeing Scotland and it felt like coming home every day. Mary was so easy to connect with - unfortunately we left as she was coming home so that is my only regret! I would absolutely reach out to Mary again when we come back! Thank you Mary, for sharing your home with us. It truly made our stay in Scotland a memorable one. Mike & Annie and family

4 Golfers from Canada. After spending 8 nights in St Andrews we wanted to finish our trip with 2 night stay close to Edinburgh. Kate's place was perfect! It's Beautiful , very spacious , super clean, close to Dalmahoy golf course and about 20 min drive to all the Edinburgh attractions for day tours. We loved our stay at Kate's place. would highly recommend.

This place was a beautiful spacious retreat at the end of each busy day of exploring Edinburgh and its surrounds. We were 2 couples on a 4 week tour around Scotland.. Whilst a little way out from the city the Pay and Ride option just a few kilometers away made it easy to get to the city Centre. The pay off was a tranquil and idyllic country/farm setting. The place was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone planning to visit Edinburgh.. Thank you Christine ..

This is new construction with all the modern appliances. It seems that they converted servants quarters into rental units and they did a great job with the construction. The road to Brunstane Farm looks like a bike path, but it is the only way to the Manor House and the adjacent rental units. This was a great place for our group of 7 and everyone had plenty of space to sleep and get ready for the day.

Great stay and would love to return. Heather’s home is inviting, very clean and cozy. We felt welcomed immediately. The decorating is lovely and the grounds are perfect for two dogs. The location is so easy for quick grocery runs and trips into Edinburgh on the train from Linlithgow. One of our favorite AirBnB stays. Only thing to pay attention to is, if you have dogs, the road is busy and cars are moving at 60mph. I don’t recommend walking them as you have to cross the street. We drove them to some spots and walked around like Swanson’s Farm to see the highland cows. They loved it and it was an easy workaround. The garden is plenty big enough for dog exercise and not having to go anywhere!

Our stay was perfect, the bungalow spotless with excellent facilities, beds were comfortable and the location was so quiet that we all slept better than we do at home.

Melissa’s flat has been put together with so much thought, it is stylish, cosy, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to be walkable for all the main sites in Edinburgh and has lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby (and Melissa provided a guidebook to help find the best spots). Melissa was incredibly accommodating and even arranged an infant cot for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Mein Mann und ich haben es bei Mary total genossen. Marys Mann hat uns willkommen geheißen, als wir ankamen und war sehr freundlich und lustig. Wenn man den Weg zum Haus hochfährt, ist das total malerisch und schön. Ihr habt ein sehr tolles Zuhause und das „kleine“ Cottage direkt daneben ist ein Traum für Gäste! Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir mehr als gerne wieder :) Es ist alles sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich! Es war alles da, was man brauchte :)

We stayed for a week for my partners birthday and had the most incredible time. The views were stunning and you could just sit all day and watch the wildlife on the lake! Beds were comfy and had all the amenities you needed. We didn’t want to leave!

This was a lovely spot and perfect for our family of 4. We were able to utilize the bus stop right up the road. Thank you to the owners for being so responsive and working with us during our stay!

David's home suited us perfectly and the location was very peaceful with easy access to Linlithgow and trains to Edinburgh. The fenced garden was an added bonus and gave our toddler space to run about. Our host also provided breakfast which meant after a long journey you didn't need to shop for the basics for the next day.

We had a great time celebrating our wedding anniversary in Lindsey's wonderful house. Perfectly situated for our activities in Edinburgh and the Cairngorms, it had everything you could hope and wish for with so much personality and amenities included. Lindsey was always very quick to respond and a truly wonderful host. Would highly recommend and certainly stay again when in the area.

Gary’s place was very comfortable and spacious. We were two singles so one stayed upstairs and the other on the pull-out sofa in the living room. Upstairs was great, sofa was quite firm. I’d say if you’re a couple, this place would be perfect, or a couple with a young child to take the sofa bed. ALDI a few minutes walk was great for groceries.
