Holiday rentals with lake access in Ljubljana

Excellent stay. The place is stunning! It overcame our expectations. I recommend it 100%. Darja is an amazing host, very kind and responsive. The house has everything and the surroundings is very beautiful and relaxing.

I'm usually quite reserved to trust reviews that are full of praises, but, in Mojca's case, everything (everything!) was up to the point. Her openness and friendliness touched us all. My family ended up at her place by pure chance on our way to another destination, but we're sure to return. Scenery, activities, food, the place itself and, of course, Mojca. Thank you!

We loved our stay! The property at the end of Lake Bohinj is lovely, with a beautiful creek flowing behind it and is close to the lake and many hiking trails. The property is big and very well kept. My family had fun playing games on the large grassy area with a volleyball net. The cabin is new, clean and cozy with nice bedding and well stocked kitchen and linens. We made 3 dinners and found everything we needed for food prep. If you're going to cook, you may want to pick up groceries before arriving in the area as the local markets have somewhat limited options. Amenities in the cabin were perfect! We watched movies, took saunas and lit fires in the fireplace - wood and kindling provided in cabin. Washer/dryer worked great and it was nice to do some laundry before moving on to our next destination. Jaka is very responsive. He communicates well and proactively using the AirBnB app.

The view from Maya’s house is amazing…just like the pictures. The house is full of antiques and is so homey and unique. We did the walk around the lake, and you can start right from the house. Maya was an amazing host— so helpful and responsive to all of our questions! If you have a car, I highly recommend this place. It is a just a short drive into town, and is in a very peaceful location. One tip: We came in on a Saturday evening and all grocery stores in the town are closed on Sundays, so just be aware of that. (Restaurants are open though).

Loved it! Very warm & friendly to us and our dog. Place was very well kept and instructions were clear. We would love to stay here when we are back in Bled.

Ideal for enjoying the surroundings of Bled. Comfortable accommodation and quality catering nearby. The bakery is a 10 minute walk away. Small peculiarity for Slovenia, add the tourist tax to the overall rental price.

We have stayed in many fantastic Airbnb’s but none of them come close to this apartment! The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful view of Lake Bled and surrounding mountains and very close proximity to the lake and train station.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay. Make sure you make use of the bikes provided by the host, they are great for getting around the area!

Jana's place is beautiful, idyllic peaceful location, apartment was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay within walking distance of Bled. Would definitely book again!

I’m so glad we chose this place for our stay at Bled. While it was very close to the town within easy walking distance it was so much more peaceful. The view of the lake and island from the balcony was spectacular. We walked to Vintgar Gorge - a beautiful 45 min walk to the start of the gorge. The kitchen was very well stocked with thoughtful things. The bed was comfortable and good shower. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful apartment. Like many others have mentioned, it is at the very top of many stairs (69) , but it’s completely worth it! A very clean and charming apartment with a lovely kitchen and great walkability to the lake and nearby restaurants. We appreciated the clothes washer too. Comfortable for our group of 5. I’d highly recommend this place and I would stay here again. I appreciate how they had many pamphlets with things to do in the area.

We had a really amazing time here! The apartment is wonderful, with two balconies both sun-facing at different times of day, with great views of the Julian Alps. The apartment has great access to Lake Bohinj, Vogel, and various walking routes in the surrounding areas. Katja and her mother were both very welcoming. We will surely be back someday!

Had a great vacation! The contact with Marija was very pleasant and super nice. The house has everything you need, but the most beautiful thing is the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

We came here with a group of 4 and got a very warm welcome from the host. He showed us around the place and gave us plenty of good recommendations. Nature and beautiful views were the only things you could see from the house😁 Maki was very helpful helping us book trips with locals and was overall an amazing host!

The place is a “5-star⭐️”, this is our son's first reaction when we arrive. The beautiful little cottage is a peaceful little “home sweet home” next to an old mill that Tomaz has renovated too. We were treated to fresh little eggs from their chickens and a very good local wine. Beautiful touches, excellent communication with the host whose natural and joyful sharing is felt. The small river and the residents as well as the colorful little hives, this place is just extraordinary. It is like Slovenia, this little green paradise and its authentic inhabitants. We will come back for sure and recommend the places and the host a thousand times.

The house is really beautiful: spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The area is quiet and surrounded by greenery, ideal for relaxing or exploring nature; many interesting attractions are located nearby. Urška was a very kind host, always helpful and attentive. We were very warmly welcomed. It is a very cozy house with everything you need. The area is quiet and good for hiking and also a perfect starting point for activities in the country. We enjoyed it very much and we can highly recommend it.

We can fully recommend the vacation home of Jana and family. The contact was already very friendly and helpful when booking, and even more so in the real encounter. The house is really very charming and unique. An old, well-preserved thatched roof house, lovingly renovated and very personal. We have taken many beautiful excursions in the area, birding tours, cave visits and hikes in the phenomenal karst landscape.

A wonderful chalet in a wonderful location, we would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Bled! The apartment has everything that you need for a short and comfortable stay, and the outdoor facilities are amazing for kids - our son loved the trampoline! Communication from the host was great and we were able to check-in slightly earlier which was a bonus. Bojan was also quick to organise a paddle boat for us to rent, which was perfect as the property is less than a five minute walk from the lake. It is also very close to a small supermarket and a lovely restaurant called Carman. We would definitely love to visit again - our only ‘warning’ is that we did not know there was an additional charge for use of a baby cot and you will also need cash for payment of tourist tax, which we did not know. Apart from that, we were very satisfied with our stay and had a fantastic time!
