The Peat Stack

DominicRating, 5 starstoday
We had a wonderful time at the Peat Stack! It is at an amazing location with a beautiful ocean view! and Stornoway is just a couple of minutes away. Isobel was very kind to leave us a basket with some crisps and beverages. Her instructions to the Airbnb were perfect and it was easy to access. All in all we were very happy with our stay and enjoyed every minute of it.

Yurt in Torridon

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The yurt was everything I'd hoped it would be. Spotlessly clean, magical setting, and everything I needed depsite being off grid. It was a superb base for exploring Torridon's stuning munros and I loved the restaurant Ghille Bridghe in Lower Diabeig (25 min drive). If you are easily woken by the light, take an eye mask as there is a skylight around the chimney which cannot be covered. I will definitely return, it is good for the soul!

The Bunker

JulianneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Such a beautiful opportunity to experience the quiet and authentic side of Stornaway. We loved every minute we spent at The Bunker! The views were spectacular and the sunrises/sunsets ever changing. The kitchen was sprinkled with locally baked treats and even homemade jam for us to enjoy. It was such a delight. The only drawback, for me personally, is how I move forward with no warming towel rack in my life!! I can’t unfeel the delightfulness of warmed clothes on a chilly morning. They are not common in the states. On a scale of one to ten, The Bunker was easily a 72 ;).

Lodge with private hot tub.

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow what a stunning place this is! The view is exactly like in the pictures, so peaceful and such a great place to watch the world go by. Angus and Ishbel were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The place was very well equipt with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. It is very well situated for exploring the surrounding area - we enjoyed lots of beautiful hill walks and beaches. We even managed to spot a few seals while sitting out on the deck. What a brilliant week - we would definitely come back!

Outstanding coastal views at Sandy Bay Pod

CaitlínRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy pod. The view from the deck was stunning and especially enjoyed when the weather was good, when we were able to sit out with a glass of wine :) A car is definitely needed to get around the area as it is quite rural but if a getaway to the countryside is what you're after, I can wholeheartedly recommend!
