Superb very cozy cottage to recharge in the green, very nice walks nearby, the flowered outdoor area is very nice and the decor of the house is charming and makes you feel at home!

We had a great time at the Montgrand farmhouse. An authentic place surrounded by nature, offering the calm we were looking for to recharge. Jean-Christophe, was particularly welcoming and attentive. Thank you to him for making us discover life on the farm, surrounded by nature and animals. He shared a part of his daily life with generosity. We had the chance to give the bottle to the lambs (Margueritte❤️), an unforgettable moment, not to mention the tractor tour, the visit to the chickens, the search for eggs in the chicken coop, the demonstration of the dogs to manage a herd, the descents with the old pedal kart... so many activities that delighted our stay and that of our son. We leave with very good memories and recommend this stay. We wish Melanie a good recovery.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and welcomed us very well to their peaceful haven. We were also able to enjoy the jacuzzi, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a truly enchanting break.

The visit to Corinne was great, she showed us the accommodation and explained everything. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. Upon request, she gave us a map of Toulouse and marked what we could visit there. We booked a dinner with her, which was really delicious (starter, main course, dessert). We ate alone, so we also had privacy, but if you wanted to talk, she also responded to that when serving. She was very communicative and could also speak English and Spanish. When we said goodbye, no one thought of the key we still had in our pockets. But 😆 we were able to send it back by mail. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place.

Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...

We had a great time in Avignon! The house is even better in reality than the photos. The owners are very welcoming, attentive, they put us at ease and we feel at home. The bedding is very good and the outdoor space is very refreshing. The children loved their sweet dog and they loved feeding the chickens. The place was very clean and the welcome basket was a reflection of the owners' generosity. Breakfast was the little extra of the stay, thank you for this delicious jam with fresh bread and salted butter! (Not counting fruit, yogurt, croissants, etc.) We also really enjoyed our petanque games as well as the jacuzzi! Thank you for everything, we will come back without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

We had a great time. The location of the hut in the middle of the fields and the forest is idyllic. The cabin is tastefully decorated and there is everything you need to have a great time together. Virginie and Marc are perfect hosts!

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sophie and Daniel’s Cap de Rivière. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and immediately felt at home. We had a great pool, 6 bikes, table tennis, boule, billiards and darts to keep us fully occupied. The gardens were beautiful and the outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the long hot days. The house was striking in its decor and very well equipped with everything we needed. Sophie and Daniel were the perfect hosts and we would love to return one day.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Our stay was very pleasant. We had planned a cocooning weekend. The accommodation was perfect for that! The stove purred all weekend, the place was spotless, very warm. We also enjoyed warm and enthusiastic feline company. Dirk and Tracy's welcome was warm and respectful. They were both present and discreet and very responsive. It was a weekend that met our expectations.

A small, timeless interlude in this magnificent bucolic setting. We were passing through for one night and had a wonderful time with Marie-Laure and Lionel, two very warm hosts who love nature and animals. Very clean chalet, very comfortable bedding and well-stocked kitchen. The garden is absolutely beautiful and maintained with great taste. Ponies, chickens, and goats enjoyed the dandelions and a few strokes. I highly recommend it! Good luck to this very charming couple!

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.

Very pleasant welcome from Sylvia. We were only staying for one night for a wedding. So we couldn't enjoy all the amenities. But the accommodation is very quiet, nice terrace with magnificent views of the vineyards. Recommended for a relaxing stay and to visit this beautiful region.
