Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lubowa

We stayed at Katie’s place for a couple weeks and it felt like home away from home as we used to live in this area of Kampala. It was clean and comfortable. The upstairs and downstairs verandahs were both very nice, with a beautiful view of the city from the top one. The co-host Candice was the best Airbnb host ever! She answered all my questions and was super flexible with me when we needed extra help. Sam and Isaak, the guards, were helpful and friendly as well as Sarah who came to clean throughout our stay.

Title: Wonderful Stay! Review: We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Sharon’s place. From start to finish, everything was great. The communication with Lynn was smooth and prompt, making everything hassle-free. The space was immaculately clean and beautiful , providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, what I loved most was that the apartment had 24/7 security , a super market , Sauna and a Gym with in the premises , Quality shopping centre was with in 5 mins and had beautiful shops , cafes and restaurants . We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. I will miss my morning walks in the hills of beautiful Lubowa. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Sharon and their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back.

The best experience with the best host! The house looked exactly like the pictures, and the view was simply out of this world — something you truly have to see for yourself. We’ll definitely be coming back! My boyfriend and I arrived at a very awkward time due to our flight schedule, and the previous guests were still in the accommodation. Despite this, Ernest was incredibly understanding and accommodating. He suggested we wait at a nearby hotel and even went out of his way to personally pick us up once the house was ready. While waiting, we struggled to find an ATM nearby, and again, Ernest stepped in — driving us to one himself. Throughout our stay, he continued to go above and beyond, helping us plan our sightseeing, recommending top attractions, and arranging transportation. By far, Ernest is the best host we’ve ever encountered. What an absolute gentleman. You’re a legend, Ernest! God bless you and your family! 🫶🏾

Our experience was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot thank the Musiimentas enough for being such incredible hosts. They stayed in touch throughout our visit, frequently checking in to ensure we were comfortable and accommodating any needs we had with great flexibility. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. The property was beyond perfect for our group. It effortlessly accommodated all seven of us, providing ample rooms and parking space. Additionally, the location was ideal. We found ourselves conveniently close to city attractions while enjoying the safety and tranquility of the area. My family and throughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn and Junior’s house! The house was so spacious and comfortable for my family and I. And we absolutely fell in love with Mr. Steven, Mr. Dickson, Ms. Barbara, and Ms. Judith! They are wonderful and very helpful and attentive. The host were very welcoming and helpful, we had a little hiccup and they were there to make sure matters were solved and in a timely manner. We were sad to have to leave as this place really started feeling like home. I definitely recommend this house 100%

My friends and I stayed at Dr Stella's place in Namulanda for two nights. She and Kia, her house manager are very nice, welcoming and helpful with even the smallest details to make our stay as easy as possible - on top of all the amenities and fully functioning chicken, she even recommended a neighbourhood restaurant that served a delicious supper. Neighbourhood is a bit of a distance off the maid road but it makes up for that with how peaceful and safe it is. I'll definitely stay whenever I am in the area as the price itself is really good for this place.

Good place I'll definitely go back, it was hot season and the fans provided helped big time. Good internet connection to the house too. Leonard and Isaac were a great help and very accommodative. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay at Alex’s. We needed a quiet place for us to relax and for my daughter to work from home and we got exactly that. The Wi-Fi works really well too for working from home. Any issues we had we got help with immediately. It’s a really spacious home and thou far from the main road , it gives you the relaxing atmosphere one needs when on holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday away from all the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how impeccably clean the space was. It truly made us feel right at home. Our host was exceptional—very communicative and attentive to our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. The location couldn’t be better! We were just a short walk away from both the cinema and the mall, which made for some great evenings of entertainment and dining. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the evenings on the balcony with my partner. It was a perfect spot to unwind and take in the surroundings. Juliet is a gem and helped us with several requests we had. The space is large, the balcony is wonderful and overlooks Lake Victoria in the distance and faces southeast so we were ablento see sunrise. Kampala is not the United States (where we're from) so if you are looking for sidewalks and super fast internet, bought want to go somewhere else. If you want authentic Kampala living and neighborhoods, friendly hosts, and more birds than you can imagine, this might be your place!

Winnie was very nice and help us in the beginning till the end of our stay in Kampala. I recommande this place felt like home.

Our stay was amazing, very easy check-in and checkout. Noella was responsive in her communication, and the caretaker Miriam was super helpful. personally, I loved the home baked cookies sent to us. The detailed check-in and checkout was helpful and straight to the point, albeit a little long when reading on mobile. But 100/10, would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Overall great stay, would highly recommend anyone visiting Kampala area to stay in this place. In the pictures, there is no dining table so I asked for one. But when I reached the place, I was surprised to find that Geofrey had a table already placed upon my request. Would definitely come back!

Maria’s place was amazing felt like home. Syson was amazing as well, so helpful and always available. If it’s your first trip to Africa or even Uganda I would highly recommend this place. Kampala is an awesome but crazy city and this is a nice quiet private little pocket of paradise. I will be coming back and renting again!

Brian the manager of the apartment block welcomed me on arrival and showed me around the apartment. He walked me down to the nearest food shop to get some basics. Only down side was not being able to walk around the neighbourhood on my own as cellphone theft is quite prevalent in Kampala. There are two armed security guard with rifles at night to keep you safe and the property is secure and walled. The apartment had everthing I needed including a blender for smoothies which was great. Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.

This place has the best location in Muyenga. It’s close to the Japanese restaurant Yamasen and Endiro Coffee, making it a convenient choice. The room was exceptionally clean, and with three rooms available, each equipped with its own spotless bathroom and shower, privacy is well maintained. Even if you’re staying alone, you won’t have to share the space with strangers. The apartment is well-equipped with modern appliances, including a washer with a dryer, a refrigerator, and a microwave. For just $50 per night, the quality and amenities provided make this an incredible deal. It’s an especially great option for groups. The only minor downside is that nearby restaurants sometimes play loud music late into the night, and a nearby school has choir sessions early in the morning, which could be slightly noticeable. However, the windows are soundproofed, so closing them helps significantly. Bringing earplugs might be a good idea just in case. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay!
