Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lumberland

This beautiful lake house is a lovely retreat from the chaos of the city. We spent the day lounging by the dock, and relaxing in the sun. It was awesome to have a full private bar with your own pool table right in the house!

The property was peaceful and beautiful and the view was stunning. The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. Perfect home and perfect weekend!

A very lovely place to stay! The description matched the place exactly. We enjoyed spending a lot of time outside on the deck bird watching and even saw some fish jumping in the river. The property is also very private which was a huge plus -- no visible neighbors in any direction while spending time outside. Seth was a very responsive host and did a great job with the design of the house. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. Would love to stay again!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

Fantastic spot with views of the lake from the deck. Easy to walk down to the beach and had fun with the kayaks. Lots of space for the kids to run around and play on the open plan kitchen/lounge. Quick drive into town for great shops and places to eat. A lovely community by the lake.

This was my first ever Airbnb, and it was a fantastic experience. The host is super friendly and responsive. The place is exactly as described. Even though it was pet friendly, there was no odor whatsoever. Very clean and fresh. Zero complaints! Will definitely be back in the future!

Great time with family- rained the entire time- best rainy vacation ever! We enjoyed fishing on the lake, hot tub was great, playing pool, family game nights and nearby hiking to waterfalls. Great family spot to bring dogs…Scottish terrier could do the spiral stairs immediately, big wirehaired pointer took a couple of days to conquer the stairs but he Did It! I would highly recommend if you want to spend time with family in a relaxing atmosphere!

Allison’s place is perfect if you’re looking for a cute cozy space to unwind and relax. Her place was so clean and looked exactly like the photos. She’s more than willing to help with anything you need while you’re there too! Overall great place to stay!

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

Debra and Mike were great hosts and have created a very warm, inviting and comfortable place for those seeking to explore the Catskills. It's a home away from home! There's a grill available which we made great use of, a fire pit to enjoy nature and star gazing, and their two dogs Luna and Roxy are extremely friendly. Highly recommend their place!

Great place. Fun water activities for the kids. Our dogs allowed to come was excellent. A little light on cutlery in the kitchen, but we made it work. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Place was amazing! Views from the place were fantastic and the drive to Elk mountain was just short of 20 minutes.

Such a beautiful Airbnb!! Very homey, clean, and a lot of amenities are provided! It is also in a great location. 2 minute drive from the lake, 4 minute drive from mini-golf, 5 minute drive from a beautiful park / hiking trail, a 25 minute drive downtown, and about a 15 minute drive to stores (aldi, walmart, lowe’s) and places to eat. Good home, surrounded by good locations. Host is fantastic, and always communicative. Responds fast, answers all questions, and even left us some vital things such as sunscreen and extra bath towels! A 10/10 experience for me and my girls.

Very cozy, private, clean and feellikehome spot. Beautiful house on the lake with everything you need. Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect place to do our 'digital detox' in a lovely cabin with plenty to do (ping pong, fire pit, hot tub and canoeing), and it was well situated to do short drives to hikes, the organic market, horseback riding and more. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable reading, playing board games, cooking and relaxing there. (The bedding was comfortable, too!) The hosts were friendly and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

we had a wonderful stay with Ed! private lake, extremely peaceful. had fun taking the row boat out and cruising around fishing. Very little preditoral fish wich resulted in massive crappy and bluegill so we still had fun!! Ed was a great host, very responsive and even surprised us with a lil treat for our anniversay. keep in mind it is a lake house so thier were Lots of bugs but would absolutely recommend this location.

This place was a homerun. Clean organized great location peaceful. Nice detail and accessories provided for a stay at a log cabin. Me and girlfriend already booked it again Excited to go back.
