Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luxor Governorate

We had a pleasant stay, Valerie's house is a real haven of peace. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The house is functional, very well equipped, we lacked nothing (very well equipped kitchen, iron etc...) Thank you to Hagag who welcomed us and was very attentive throughout the stay. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Even if the accommodation is not along the Nile, it is barely 10 minutes by Tuktuk. The pool is a real plus, allowing you to overcome the hot weather in Luxor.

Hospitable owner, simple but clean and comfortable accommodation which includes a nice garden, close to the main attractions. Last but not least, excellent value of money!

Mohamed's house is exceptional, it is wonderful to find a house with a pool to enjoy without sharing with anyone. Maintenance was daily, an assistant from Mohamed checked every day the state of the water and chlorine level of the pool. The rooms of the house are spacious and very high ceilings, that, along with the North/South orientation of the building, allowed us to enjoy our stay without the need for air conditioning, the outside temperature was 38 degrees. The toilet has an immense bathtub (and hot water). The kitchen has the basics to run, refrigerator, oven, gas stove,... The living room is very spacious and has a large and practical table to eat. You can enjoy a terrace on the top of the house with a side access, has armchairs and wooden table, beautiful views. The photos on Airbnb fit the reality.

Very nice villa with good location. Bidwin is very halpful and friendly and we got good friends. He helped us with the trips and we got always food from him. He also gave us his motorcycle which we used to go to the ruins like King Valley or Hatsepsut temple. All in all very happy with this Airbnb.

Big thanks to Liza and Karen for amazing time in Luxor and in this house! Karem always helps with everything even in th middle of the night. He gave us many options to spend our time, and he become a friend to us in this journey. The view is unbelievable, we’ve never seen anything like that. The house itself is lovely, it had many little things for our comfort. The AC works nice. I wish everyone to see this place at least once, and I hope we’ll get a chance to visit Luxor again. P.S. you may meet some non-dangerous insects and lizards in the house, because it’s a desert; there’s nothing you or hosts can do with it, so it’s okay :) Even though there’s nothing you can do, Karem came to us and helped with little “roommates” in the middle of the night, so nothing was bothering us at all.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the view was breathtaking. The pool was perfect — clean, relaxing, and a true highlight of the place. The area is peaceful and very safe, ideal for a relaxing vacation. What truly made our experience exceptional was the tour guide Ahmed. He took everything to another level — incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had the best of everything: from delicious local food to unforgettable temple visits and a stunning Nile cruise. He truly made our trip 100 times better. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Hannah & Ahmed’s beautiful villa was the highlight of our holiday. It’s such a tranquil spot with breathtaking views, my family and I loved being in a more rural location, and yet so close to ancient Egyptian history. We were made to feel very welcome, they gave us excellent recommendations on nearby restaurants and arranged a tuk tuk which was great fun. They made everything easy for us which added to a relaxing stay. The villa is spacious and stylish, it has everything you could wish for. The roof terrace is gorgeous, watching the hot air balloons with a cup of tea at sunrise was a magical moment and something I’ll never forget. I would 100% recommend staying here, you will love it.

Very good stay at Hussein's accommodation Very good advice and help to organize the different visits, as well as the journey for taxis (with Ahmed). Possibility of eating at home with his brother who cooks very well! Very clean space. I would recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful stay at Amr’s place in Luxor! He is an incredibly warm and cheerful host who even came to pick us up from the train station, which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared with snacks and drinks waiting for us. In a city where it’s easy to fall into tourist traps—especially with horse carriage rides—Amr kindly connected us with a trustworthy and friendly driver, making the experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at his place. It’s a hidden gem in Luxor that you shouldn’t miss!

Adham's house is simply cozy. It is located in the West bank, more laid back. I prefer peaceful surrounding as opposed to being right in the city among the hustle & bustle. The house is close proximity to all the attractions in the West Bank, all reachable by cab within maximum of 15 minutes. Adham was always checking on me, that's sweet of him as a host who takes care of his customers. The house comes with washing machine & a fully equipped kitchen, so it was easy for me to manage my food (I'm vegetarian) and my dirty clothes. There's also metal clothes drying rack to dry your clothes. Adam provided my pick up and drop off to airport for a sum. It was at wee hours and he did not charge me extra. I would definitely return to Adham's home if I visit Luxor in future.

Our visit at Nefertarie Guest House was an experience we’ll have always in good Memory! Our visit took place in early June, when it starts to be very hot outside, so we were so happy to have the opportunity to jump in the pool at any time. We also enjoyed the freshly made breakfast on the terrace every morning. Mohamed’s Son, Ibrahim made everything possible, we had in Mind. He is a very friendly young man, how makes great holiday offerings, but also knows when to take a step back, and give the guests some private space. That is a rare quality in Egyptian Tourism, but makes the difference for german Visitors, or maybe even for Europeans in general. We would book Nefertarie Guest House again and recommend it to all our friends and relatives.

I’m not sure where to start. This was by far the best Airbnb or hotel experience I’ve ever had. Linda is amazing! She is very nice and accommodating. She’s well informed and can provide you with all the information you could want about the area. She also can help you with exploring the area and making sure you are not being overcharged during your stay. I’d recommend bouncing any ideas off of her when booking your activities. I stayed for a little over 2 weeks, and by the time I left I felt like I was part of the family. I definitely will be returning, as the experience brought not only a great stay but allowed me meet many new lifetime friends! 10/10 recommend!

Ida was responsive and went above and beyond to make you feel like you are at home and are family. Beautiful views from the rooftop and the restaurants in walking distance are very reasonably priced and 10/10 quality. My aunt had a back injury which turned out to be Ida’s speciality and she went above and beyond to help reliever pain which helped her enjoy her time in Luxor and the remainder of our trip.

Mohammed was a very helpful and kind host. He will always make sure you’re okay. He brought us some bananas first night we stayed in. Which was very nice from him 🥹🥰 The place is located in the peaceful site of the city which makes the place a peaceful home. The swimming pool definitely is the star of the house. My little one enjoyed a lot. The only thing I will recommend to Mohammed is equipe the kitchen a little bit more. Maybe few more cutlery and fry pans will be helpful. Overall was a great place to stay in! Thank you very much.

Omg what a place. Plenty of space. very clean. The best part of this airbnb was ALI. His hospitality 10/10. The airbnb is alittle inside but 100% worth it. Bed is so comfortable. Hot water was available at all times. Basically all in all it's the best place in luxor.

An exceptional accommodation with open views of the Valley of the Kings from the terrace, bedroom and living room. Upon entering the apartment I was seized by the size of the latter: a large living room, a large bedroom with a double bed, and a shower that would make my small Parisian studio blush. Saleh was a remarkable and very caring host. Thanks to his experience as a guide, his recommendations have always been relevant. A very nice human encounter I would recommend it 100%

Super helpful to let us leave our bags when we transferred from one unit to another. Responsive host who even gave us some fresh thinner sheets to use for sleeping. Good spot!

My family had a great stay at Ineke and Azzab's place. West bank location allowed us to explore a more relaxed side of town, but still had plenty of walkable restaurant options. Super helpful in setting us up with a very good tour guide and hot air balloon. The house came with staff for transportation and breakfast (both cost extra, but well worth it for our family) that were excellent, helpful, and welcoming. Place was clean, secure, and comfortable with all the amenities we could need.
