The villa feels like a grown-up treehouse, with palms seeming to crowd right up to the 20-meter infinity pool, and a lounger-lined terrace. Arrange to have a massage in the poolside pavilion or the spa area—a great way to end a session on the private tennis court.
Designed as a family home, the villa is a breezy take on the classic Balinese home. Leave the sides of the living and dining rooms open to savor the tropical weather, or close the living room if you need a little AC. Look for local-inspired details like carved chairs, built-in sectionals, and woven light fixtures that cast a soft glow.
Though it feels like it’s tucked into the forest, the villa is a short drive or a 10- to 15-minute walk from the beach. Try hanging 10 at the nearby Balian and Medewi surf breaks, trek through forest and fields on walking trails, and take a day trip to the Tanah Lot sea temple or the Sangeh Monkey Forest.
