Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lucerne

Very nice outhouse a level below the main house. Private entry and exit. Facing a lawn full of roses in all colours and distant greenery. Felt right at home along with kindness and caring nature of Jennifer. Luzern station was just 15 minutes by bus and we faced no challenges in transportation. Place we clean and nice with comfortable bed and nice fixtures. Extremely pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We really loved getting back home, it was quiet, just like the photos and much more peaceful than the tourist areas. Tricia was the best with her recommendations and adding slight personal touches to the place. It had everything you would need, and the best part it is truly a bed and breakfast, loved meeting Tricia for breakfast and learning so much. If I visit again, which I plan to I would definitely want to stay here.

We had a great time at Rodolfo's place. And we also slept very well. the accommodation is impeccable and really very cute and modern. we felt at home, we loved the accommodation. We also appreciated the small touches on the table 😊 Rodolfo is very welcoming and very friendly, he is an available host. we recommend this host 1000%

I stayed here with my wife and 2 young children for 6 nights. We had a lovely stay and found it to be a great location to explore Luzern and central Switzerland via public transport. We bought a Swiss travel pass and went out on excursions every day. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest trains station and about the same to the supermarket. There a play parks nearby and a small shopping centre. Check-in was easy and communication great from Julia and Daniel. The kids loved playing with the cats and chickens in the lovely garden when we were in and they enjoyed checking for eggs every day (they were delicious!).

Fantastic home in a great location, it was well equiped and our host was very friendly and informative with a very quick response time. The road from Stansstad to Kehrsiten could be problematic for an inexperienced driver.

Absolutely loved this place! A friend and I were taking a trip around Europe and this was by far our favorite stay! It felt like we were in a family members home - Everything was so cute and cozy. Not to mention the location! It is very walkable and there is a beautiful park a few minutes away! It is also conveniently located near the train station, ferry port, and lots of food and drink places. Elaine was also so kind and helpful. I will definitely be recommending her bnb to anyone I know who is going to Switzerland!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

The views from this place are stunning. The house is spacious and homely. Lovely balcony and garden. It has everything you could possibly need. We ate in every evening and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bus was reliable and free with the Guest Pass which was a bonus. It only took 10 mins to get into Luzern, a lovely town. Grocery shops are a little far away so we used the shopping centre at the station. A fantastic base to explore the region... I highly recommend this place.

Honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at! Dieter was a really nice host, and checked in to see how we were going. Checking into the apartment was super easy and it was all very clean. The best part of this Airbnb is definitely the location and amenities. If you’re looking for an Airbnb with amazing views from your window, that’s still close to Lucerne city (both walking distance and easy bus access), then this is the one! All the appliances and furniture also seemed brand new, which just added to the really nice feel of the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Beatrice and Claudia’s home in Lucerne! The decoration of the apartment is truly unique, tasteful, and very clean — it gave the place such a cozy and welcoming feel. We really enjoyed our time here and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is perfect, especially if you’re planning to visit Mount Pilatus. The home is just 5 minutes by car from the Kriens cable car station, which is the ideal starting point for the beautiful Pilatus trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lucerne!

We had a wonderful week at Tatiana's lovely apartment. The place was clean and as others have said, just a few minutes from the train station and the VIEW! Delightful. Since Tatiana was traveling when we were there, we didn't get to meet her so some communication was a bit delayed and it took us a few days to figure out how we could get to the covered walkway from the apt. to the train station as it's not clear how to find it (at the end of track 14, then the elevator to the lobby and up the 12B elevator to apt). There are a couple restaurants right outside the building, but old town is a 10-20 min walk away. Once you are oriented it's pretty easy to navigate around. All in all it was a great spot for us as we explored the region and visited friends locally. Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at Tania’s apartment. It is centrally located to everything in Lucerne and very walkable! The entry was seamless (the key box is a little hard to open but just give it a jiggle and it’ll pop open). Overall, great spot!

Ana has a spacious penthouse with a big terrace. The space was clean, had modern furniture, even a clothes drier. Its a short Uber to the center. It is also accessible by the main train station. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes from the main train station to the nearby station and another 5 to 10 minute walk from there. She was responsive and check-in was easy.

We want to sincerely thank Vesko and his lovely wife for their warm and thoughtful hospitality during our stay. A special appreciation goes to his wife for going the extra mile to make us feel so welcome — her kindness truly stood out and made a lasting impression. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay incredibly pleasant and convenient. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This is a very good residence, and the owner, Tina, is very nice. The reply to the question is very fast, and the small blackboard with the welcome written on it is very touching. There is hot water for 24 hours, which is enough for five people to take a bath. The scenery is also very good, and you can see the snowy mountains on the balcony. That is, you can hear the noise of the train when you open the window, but the good thing is that the window is very soundproof, and you can't hear the noise when you close the window. In short, this is a wonderful trip to Switzerland!

The place is super clean and modern, fully renovated. Sven was very responsive and brought the items we needed. The unit has laundry downstairs and feels like a home away from home. It is in a very nice neighborhood. While a bit walking distance to the bus station, Uber is super convenient and cheaper than taxi, which we used often. Overall it is a great place!

They stay at Simon's was wonderful. Simon was very helpful and we really liked the flat with the terrace and the view. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with some food that we could take. We would recommend Simon's place to anyone.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood. You are just 10 mins away from downtown Lucerne in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous mountain and meadow views. This place is out of the world good and the owner Thomas and his family is very courteous and friendly. It is absolutely clean in a quite serene environment. You will hear the cows moo in the morning if you step outside. There is a COOP grocery less than 5 min away. Thomas welcomed us and did a walkthrough of the property and explained us all the amenities and how to operate them. The communication was very prompt. He allowed us to check in early and frequently checked in to see if we were comfortable during our stay. They have everything in the kitchen to cook. The big formal living area is huge with beautiful furniture and huge dinning table. The bedroom is quite big with closet space. My trip was made more memorable, thank you for the kind hospitality and wonderful house. We would definitely to come back here soon

Location, location, location!! Clean, easy to come and go within the town. Remi was very responsive and provided lots of local suggestions.
