Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The house has 5 bedrooms and is well suited for families, quiet groups of friends, and smaller work groups, up to 8 guests. A large garden, two terraces, a barbecue, a fireplace, art, Persian rugs, and the Maihaugbekken river give the house a unique character. The bookshelves contain a large collection of books on Lillehammer's local history, and old pictures of the town hang on the walls. Parking for up to 3 cars.

There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you must bring your own bedding and towels.

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
