Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa! Os anfitriões foram extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis, dando-nos várias indicações úteis desde o início. Sentimo-nos em casa — o espaço é muito confortável, acolhedor, bem decorado e com tudo o que precisávamos para desfrutar de uns dias tranquilos. A Casa do Outro Mundo é, de facto, mesmo do outro mundo! Um lugar único, cheio de charme e cuidado em cada detalhe. A aldeia, embora pequena, tem um encanto especial. Fomos sempre recebidos com cordialidade pelos habitantes e até a nossa Arya 🐶 fez novos amigos! Recomendamos sem hesitação e esperamos voltar.

The house is an absolutely charming combination of old & rustic with tasteful decorations and modern amenities. The design of place is really smart and well considered. It is located in a really, really quiet spot and is very peaceful and beautiful. The closest town (Mogadouro) is maybe a 15 minute drive away. And there are lots of places to visit in the area by car. Rui is a great host. Responsive and helpful. We were looking for a place to stay with our dog to escape the fireworks during the São João celebrations in our part of Portugal. Rui assured us we would have a peaceful time at his place and he was 100% right.

Luís had me feel welcome from the start! I had trouble navigating myself, but Luís assisted me and I got there in the end :) the house is so cute, perfect situated and has everything you need. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for tranquility! Luís Shop, filled with local goods and especially his world class chestnut honey is definitely worth a stop while you’re there.

Estadia muito boa. Local calmo, casa impecável. Apenas tem bastantes bichos, o que é normal na zona em que está inserido.

Leuk vrijstaand huisje midden in de stad en langs de rivier. Fijne tuin met zwembad, terras in de schaduw. Alles schoon en netjes. Fijn dat de hond mee mocht. Afgesloten tuin. Leuke wandelroute direct vanuit de woning over een houten steiger. Zeer attente en snel reagerende hosts. Een probleempje met een deurkruk kwamen ze heel snel verhelpen. Ik raad het zeker aan!

A great find if you are planning a stay in Chaves: located very central, close to the points of interest and good cafes and restaurants. This Airbnb is run by an incredibly friendly host who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that her guests have the best possible experience. Very clean apartment with excellent quality beds which guarantee good sleep. Chaves is definitely worth a visit, it has a nice range of monuments, nice museums and walks all within easy walking distance. Having a parking spot almost in front of our accommodation was a big plus too!

We had to make a last minute business trip to Bragança and Gilles’ place was perfect for our stay. It’s in a fabulous location, a few minutes walk from the castle, and very convenient. It also has a lovely deck. Our visit was cut short due to a family emergency. Luckily, we got to enjoy some of Bragança‘s charm thanks to this cozy, well appointed, and beautifully located lodging. Gilles was very helpful and responsive. Hope to come back for a longer stay.

Excelente ubicación para visitar Chaves sin estar en la ciudad, se llega fácil y se puede acceder a toda la comarca. El alojamiento es cómodo y limpio, tiene de todo, está muy bien la cocina, la cama cómoda y mucho espacio de almacenamiento. Es un alojamiento moderno, tienes espacio para aparcar el coche dentro del recinto y un jardín y patio precioso. Lo recomiendo para visitas culturales por la zona o para hacer rutas de senderismo, naturaleza y arqueología que hay mucho por la zona. Se puede llegar a Chaves en 5 minutos. Lo recomiendo.
