We had a fabulous stay at this guesthouse. Min and Fun were very welcoming and happy to help with any requests. They immediately made us feel at home. The guesthouse is right on the banks of the river and the gardens are beautiful. It really does feel like a piece of paradise. After a couple of weeks of travelling we really appreciated the quiet location and beautiful pool. They even had a sauna and steam room for us to use! The bungalows are very large and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was continental style and very generous. The guesthouse is only 15 minutes from town. We were picked up here for a day with elephants with no problems. We also used grab to get around. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our time at Absolute Thai Hillside villa. We rented 2 villas for our group. This villa was very cozy and charming. Staying in December there was no need for AC but it was an option. Keeping in mind that this is in rural Thailand the simple amenities are appropriate. Additionally, the compound grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed swinging on the swings, exploring the grounds, taking lots of pictures and enjoying dinner at the large communal kitchen. there's not much within walking distance (a few mom-n-pop type stores), but a 7-11 is a short drive and plenty to explore in this area (check out mok fa waterfall nearby). The property care takers were very helpful addressing any issues and giving suggestions on what to do.

Beautiful space right in the shadow of the mountain. We changed our booking dates last minute and Pearl was happy to accommodate. Would stay again!

Beautiful location, high quality rooms and idyllic climate high up in the hills. Only issue is getting transport to other places because of how remote it is.

Friendly and wonderful people, always willing to accommodate. Great food as well. The setting was even more beautiful and serene than expected, and well worth the long drive from the main road, just make sure you have your own transportation. We stayed here 2 nights and they cooked several meals for us, just pay a little bit extra. Awesome waterfall hike that you can start from the cabin. We were in town for the Shambhala festival and it was a bit far to drive, but overall satisfied with our choice and would do it again 100%

The cabins are nice and comfortable, it's close to the bars from where you can see a beautiful sunset overlooking the mountain. And you have the hot springs nearby. All that's left to do is to reinforce the bathroom cleaning.

Nestled at nearly 1,100 meters above sea level, on a quiet mountain ridge and surrounded by lush forest, the air is fresh, the views are breathtaking, and the serenity is priceless. It’s the perfect hideaway for remote work, reading a good book, deep conversations with loved ones, or simply enjoying nature in silence. The cabin is well-equipped with a BBQ pit, kitchen cutlery, and other essentials for a comfortable stay. You can also order food from nearby restaurants, but note that they don’t always deliver or operate all day, so plan ahead or bring your own. Do keep in mind: the cabin is located in the middle of nature, so you may encounter small insects or harmless forest critters — it’s all part of the charm of staying in the wild. If solitude, stillness, and fresh air are what you’re after, this place is a true hidden gem.

It’s hard to describe the peace and hospitality you feel from this place. Maan and his family, even his village are so kind and helpful to help us travel through this region. This stay is rural- We were in the back of several trucks to find it, and amenities are few, but dinner and breakfast is served to the cabin after walking the fields and waking up to coffee and breakfast where he welcomed MANY curious questions from two Americans. Even in the off season, there were many birds livestock, and green plants - being able to eat the rice from the location of the farmers family is truly a blessing. Beautiful, authentic, nourishing stay. Thank you for sharing your space.

Felt right at home, very peaceful area with friendly staff.

This is my first time in PAI and I was blown away at how beautiful the location was. It was fun and unique and I could’ve been happier. Highly recommend it absolutely lovely and made my vacation feel very special.

Pristine unit at a beautiful location - the views are spectacular and being right on the lake make for a really peaceful experience. 10/10

The place is cosy and it’s right in the center, just a few steps by the Pai walking street. I liked the garden where you can just chill if you don’t feel like going out. It’s ok for 3 people, spacious enough to feel comfortable. In the end I would recommend staying at this place

This place was perfect for us. Cozy area. Beautiful quiet area with a ton of delicious restaurants. Tons of gym options within motorbike distance and renting one from Wanchai was extremely reasonable and easy. My girlfriend and I work remotely and there were plenty of cafe options for us to work from. Caveats: - There are quite a few bugs. Ants always crawl around the ceiling in the bathroom and sometimes on the ground and toilet. Spiders in the tree shower and a friendly huntsman spider would come out some nights. It was not a dealbreaker for us, but if you can't stand bugs, consider this. - A motorbike is strongly advised. Bikes are offered which unlocks some places, if you don't want to drive, consider yourself limited in places to visit. - Internet was okay. It wasn't a problem because we had hotspot, so if you work remote, make sure to get a hotspot for your trip! Do not be frightened by these things! It's a fantastic place to stay and if we come back to CM, we will stay here!

Very responsive host lovely location can be a little hard to find but it’s overall a cute and serene place

super dear people! super nice accommodation :) It is a small walk to downtown but you can also rent a scooter excellently. Communication was usually great, only when we wanted to extend, we waited quite a long time for an answer - but it worked out and that's the main thing. Would definitely come back!
