Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mae Hong Son

We very much enjoyed our stay, and extended our stay by an extra day. We travelled as 2 generations of one family. It's close enough to Pai that the 20-somethings were able to go in to do exciting things (and get a taxi back), while the Olds were very happy just chilling at the house. The best thing was the enormous deck, which wraps around 2 sides of the house so shade always available. It has lovely views and the sound of water going over some rapids. There were a few places to eat within a 10 mins walk, the one across the bridge then back on the other side of the river was fabulous. This was the only AirBnB we've stayed at in Thailand so hard to compare - we found the rooms large by UK standards. The property is brand new and quite well equipped. The jacuzzi is the bath in the main bathroom. Initially we were a little concerned that you need to go through one bedroom to reach the other, but it's easy to get around by going through the window which is knee height and huge.

We enjoyed our stay in this large and comfortable house - especially the view and the serenity, as the house is in a quaint area that feels removed from the hustle and bustle of Pai despite being a short drive away. Meeting George, Fon, and their lovely family, who are the most gracious hosts you will ever meet, was certainly a highlight for us. They helped solve any and all problems with the house and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. They have cultivated the most amazing farm and community, and it was a privilege to visit and feel like a part of it, even if for a short period. Don’t miss out on the yummy dried bananas they grow and make, or on a visit to their unique tea shop!

Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein grosses Haus, etwa 9 Kilometer außerhalb vom Zentrum von Pai. Mitten im Grünen und sehr ruhig. Perfekt zum ausschalten und erholen. Das beste ist die grosse Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht! Du brauchst definitiv Auto oder Roller (schon direkt in Pai organisieren!) Ohne geht es nicht. Sehr geeignet für Familien. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Vielen Dank!

Amazing stay at this beautiful property, the hosts were so helpful and kind and helped us with whatever we needed. Lovely location and bit out of town but perfect if you have motorbikes. Also coffee stand just at the top of the driveway is highly recommended, they even have mini golf!!!!

we loved this place so much! had the best time in pai and was great having the extra space for the 4 nights we stayed. we wish we stayed longer!!!

Really great accommodation - exceed expectations. Location is perfect - very quiet but still not far from the city center and the airport. Large land area. You have everything you need there. Two bedrooms and kitchen and living-room and bbq-facilities even fair-place outside Vit and his family are very hospitable, open and delicate people. It is difficult to find better place to stay at Mae Hong Son :) 110% positive experience!

This is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in Thailand. The hosts are very quick with their responses and even provided delicious meals throughout my stay. On top of this they even washed my clothes for free. When I arrived I was met with 5 very friendly dogs and as a cat person, I couldn’t help but love them. The accommodation itself is located In a very peaceful area with a beautiful view and very close to the Sunday market. The bed was comfy and the room spacious. Bathroom did everything it needed to with no faults. As a solo traveller from england I’d recommend this place to anyone In the area. Nearest 711 is roughly 10 minutes away but the views definitely make up for it. Hosts were very friendly and also provided free coffee and tea. Highly recommend to anyone, go check it out!

nous avons passé deux jours merveilleux en compagnie de yuri et bom qui sont des hôtes fantastiques dans leur accueil, leur disponibilité et l'attention qu'ils portent à leurs invités. je ne vais pas répéter tout les commentaires positifs précédemment écrits mais seulement remercier chaleureusement des gens avec qui j'aurais aimé pousser les conversations à un niveau plus complexe si nous avions partagé la même langue.

My family and I really enjoyed staying this place. Everything was clean and tidy. Host was friendly. I felt strongly close to nature and it was exactly what I wanted. Host answered very quickly and she sent us directions how to get to the place. But I think it would be better to update the location in the map. Thank you for this authentic experience ❤️

Der Aufenthalt bei Soonthon war einer der schönsten Aufenthalte die ich je in einer AirBnb Untrkunft hatte. Durch ein kleines Dorft und einen betonierten Weg gelangt man auf das hoch gelegene Gelände. Die Aussicht von unserer Hütte und von der Aussichtsplattform ist wunderschön. Wir wurden von unserem Gastgeber sehr herzlich empfangen und haben Bananen geschenkt bekommen. Nachts konnte man einen Sternenhimmel sehen der wirklich atemberaubend ist. Morgens haben wir auf unserer Terasse den Tee und den Kaffee genossen der in der Hütte zur Verfügung steht. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen.

Las cabañas son lindas y cómodas, está cerca de los bares desde donde podes ver un hermoso atardecer con vista a la montaña. Y tienes cerca las aguas termales. Solo le falta reforzar la limpieza del baño .
