My stay at The River Hideaway was truly magical! I spent an amazing weekend chilling by the river, exploring the surroundings, and just soaking in the peaceful jungle vibes. The house was equipped with every little detail you could think of. You can really tell how much care and thought went into creating this place. The wifi was impressively fast and reliable, a huge bonus for me especially as a remote worker. Plus, the generator kicked in immediately during the rare power cuts, so I never felt any inconvenience. Communication with the host was excellent they were super responsive and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I honestly can't wait to visit again, it’s the perfect spot to disconnect from the crowds and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, inspiring hideaway!

10 out of 10 stay, specially because of the kindness of Ryan. He made us feel like part of the family! His focus is on giving back to the community, and he hooked us up with manny (local pro-surfer) to be our guide and teacher. To guide you around the island, he made a google map link with all the highlights. And for giving more specific recommendations he is super helpful to find the things you are looking for. Location is very quiet right in between GL & cloud 9. At the front there is a nice little shaded garden, in the middle a chill hang-out area & a cozy kitchen in the back. The beds are very comfy, AC makes the room cool, and the shower has good pressure. Lovely stay overall!

A hidden gem in Pilar! A cute, personable property surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Great place for chilling, with comfy hammocks and open rooftop to enjoy the view😍 Roy was super friendly and helpful, accommodating all of our requests - local recs, transport to airport etc. Super good value for money. Me and my husband went in Siargao to celebrate my birthday. I instantly loved the place when I saw the listing here but was a bit hesitant at first because it’s kinda far from Gen. Luna. But we did it anyway and booked it. The host and the Ates never fails to update us on and before check-in. Also, I want to commend them for being so nice and even helped us find a Tuktuk upon checking out and transferring us to our next accommodation. Will definitely go back here in Siargao and will stay here. We loved everything here and will highly recommend this. Thank you Kalani Villas for the great stay! 100/10! ❤️

The bamboo house is really nice, quiet, and very clean. The bed is super comfortable and the house is spacious and bright thanks to the windows. The garden is a relaxing place surrounded by nature. We're SO pumped to have spent our stay here. Within walking distance is also a beautiful beach from which to watch a beautiful sunset. The property only needs a little more care in removing the dry leaves in the garden and on the side of the shower. Thanks for the great experience 🛖🪴🥰

Our stay at Mantaray, hosted by Elvira and Joseph, was by far our best Airbnb experience to date! They laid the perfect foundation for an incredible holiday on Siargao. The property itself is amazing — comfortable beds, stylish modern-tropical rooms, a beautiful patio, a lovely pool, and a stunning sea view. Scooter rentals are available on-site with well-maintained, modern scooters at affordable rates, saving you from having to rent older ones in town. The location couldn’t be better: close enough to the city to be there in minutes, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet, away from late-night noise and morning traffic. Elvira and Joseph, being locals, have an extensive network and shared a fantastic list of insider recommendations for surfing, dining, and beaches, which made a huge difference in how much we were able to enjoy the island. It was our first-ever trip to Siargao, and we’re already looking forward to coming back — we will definitely be rebooking at the Mantaray!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would !! I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The bed is super comfy, the room is beautiful and spotless. The location is perfectly tucked away to have some peace but also close to good restaurants and cafes (and the ocean of course). I will definitely be back again, thank you!!
