Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mahoning Township

We had an incredible stay! The location was perfect—just minutes from Jim Thorpe and so many popular Poconos spots. Wendy truly thought of everything… literally everything. Her home was stocked, cozy, and welcoming in every way. The game room was a huge hit with the whole family and kept everyone entertained, especially since it rained the entire weekend. Even with the weather, we had a great time because there was so much to do inside. It was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and hands down the most comfortable. Truly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful location! We were in town to go to the college’s graduation ceremony and I booked Norma and Wayne’s windy hill lodge. I arrived at 10 PM after a 9 hour trip, but what a comfort it was when I got inside (easy)! It was warm and inviting, lots of snacks and refrigerated items and a “lifesaving” chicken nuggets in the freezer — I was starving and hadn’t eaten since noon! The decor matches my love of horses (I have two rescued thoroughbreds!) the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable (my brother stayed the second night and he said he had a great sleep!) We both got a tour of the barn, admired the fields, and we loved talking to Wayne about how it all “worked”! We wished we had more time to just hang out there, but we had all the family activities one enjoys in Easton during graduation weekends! Thank you for everything!!!

Marsha and John’s cozy cottage is a magical oasis that was one of the best stays We’ve ever had. The hospitality we received felt like a family member who loves you and wants you to have the time of your life, and we did! Marsha has any whim you could possibly imagine covered and then some! The grounds and gardens were so beautiful with a lot of options to enjoy like a fire pit (with every need covered), bird baths/houses for bird watching and covered seating even in the rain. The cottage is immaculately clean and full of detail and charm. The spa area is completely stocked with luxury soaps, hair care products, and any type of towel you could ever want. I am so grateful to Marsha and John and made so many memories during our stay! This is a GEM!

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

This was my second stay at Rob’s place, and once again it was a great experience. The house, tucked away in the Green Ridge area of Scranton, is quiet, charming, and full of character. It has that cozy, old-home feel that’s both welcoming and comfortable. Rob is a very attentive host—quick to respond and clearly thoughtful about making sure everything goes smoothly. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Diane and Hiester are simply the best! This was our second time staying with them in PA, and it was just as fantastic as the first. They are truly amazing hosts – so warm, welcoming, and they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their place is perfect, but it's their incredible kindness and genuine hospitality that make all the difference. We absolutely love staying with them and can't wait for our next visit! One of the cleanest and most peaceful Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. Tucked away in the lush countryside of rural Pennsylvania, Marina’s place is surrounded by lush greenery and scenes. I even watched Robins feast in the rich soil out back. Inside, the home was immaculate — one of the cleanest spaces (if not the) I’ve experienced on Airbnb. The bed was very cozy, the amenities thoughtful/abundant, and everything was exactly as described. To top it off, Marina is an exceptional host. She went out of her way to help me retrieve a bag I accidentally left behind, which speaks volumes about her kindness and attention to guests. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quiet, beauty, and the comfort of a truly cared-for space.

I enjoyed my stay here. Lisa was very nice and very responsive if you ever needed anything. Everything looked the same as in the pictures, very cozy place to stay.

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Wow! This place was perfect for our mountain hiking adventure weekend. We chose it because it had ample space, a kitchen and was near several of the parks we had looked into but what we got was so much more. The instructions were meticulous like every other detail of the space and was easy to follow for us who are from out of town. The space gave us and our teen nephew plenty of space to prepare and rest around our 8-mile outstanding hike at Ricketts Glenn Park. We hiked past more than 30 breathtaking waterfalls. We prepared our breakfasts and snacks in the fully equipped kitchen and slept like babies in the comfy bed. Each detail was considered, gently communicated and orderly. We are frequent travelers and this place stood out. We hope to be back soon.

If you are looking to stay in Pottsville, there isn't a better location than this. Right next to the Majestic theater. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars and Yuengling Brewery. Would definitely stay here again when in Pottsville again.

This was by far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. The cabin was warm and welcoming, and everything was clean and clutter free. But, the most remarkable part was the beauty, peace, and solitude!! We spent the morning through the evening sitting outside and taking in the breathlessness of nature. I didn’t feel the need to look at my phone once and barely knew what time it was. We found our peace on Stoneycreek Lane! We are definitely going to return! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

This was my third time booking this enchanting Norway Chalet. It became almost my home away from home. Close to Jersey, close to trailheads, private, quiet and a ton of amenities. The host is very responsive and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend it.

I work in the corporate world, this house and peace was needed. It’s lovely inside and the views of nature are amazing. Perfect house to get lost in for a few days.

Cozy cabin with great vibes. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed 2 nights on a weekend taking in 2 family reunions in the area. This place is fabulous. Beautiful cabin. Comfy beds and couches to lounge in. Warm welcome with delicious homemade cookies. Loved all the little lights and decorations. And lots more that we didn't get to experience. Our only disappointment was that our time was so taken up with events that we had very little time to chill out and enjoy the cabin. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely try to stay here when we are in the area again.

This cabin provides a peaceful break from day to day busy life. Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 dee in the front yard. They visited frequently throughout our stay. The home was clean and well stocked. There were items thag most of us use day to day but wouldn't typically pack (spices, oils, etc). The fenced in yard was beautiful and allowed our dogs are safe space to explore. The cabin is a quiet neighborhood.

Would happily stay again. Close to many family friendly activities like scenic train rides and the zoo. full kitchen made it easy to feed family. only recommendation would be if you have very young children to bring a child gate.
