Very beautiful rural stay in Amboseli, with fantastic views of Kilimanjaro. Close by the park entrance and not far from town. Thomas the host is really generous and helpful. Would definitely stay again. 10/10

Amanya camp is a great place but what makes it A1 or even better than other camps at Amboseli is their staff. The service was remarkable

We really liked our stay at the house. The views in particular were breath taking and the environment generally very calm. Sam the caretaker was really helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. We however wished the house was equipped with necessities such as coffee( even the small sachets ) to make the stay more comfortable. It is also important to note that the place is quite a distance from social amenities and therefore you need to stock up on snacks( if traveling with kids or otherwise) and the house has no television( so other forms of entertainment should be thought of) Generally a nice place and we enjoyed our stay!

The stay was so amazing. Loved the food. The chef was very courteous and Thomas was very friendly.

Although a traditional and intentional outdoor camper who even brought all of my own camping gear to Thomas's farm , he somehow convinced me to stay in his newly constructed hard dome tent. Truly a place a comfort is an understatement as each morning I was greeted by the sun kissed Mt. Kilimanjaro ! Furnished with the necessary amenities and hotel-like room service & attendance, I felt at ease during my annual health and wellness retreat. I wish I could have this majestic accommodation to myself but I can't, so I will definitely recommend this anyone looking for a home away from home with a unbeatable view. Our stay at Wilson’s was a highlight of our trip to Kenya. Wilson’s place was so much fun. We felt that many of the mid-high end lodges we stayed at during our trip were impersonal and inauthentic. This was not the case at Wilson’s farm. Between the activities we did (market day and village bike ride) and just hanging around the farm we felt that we really got a small glimpse of how people live in the areas surrounding Amboseli. Additionally Wilson’s staff, Jonas, Richard and Melvin, were super accommodating and helpful and so much fun! We had a blast with everyone there. If you are interested in more than just safaris and a tourist-catered experience I would highly recommend carving out a few days of your trip to stay here. I should also mention that Wilson is a great contact for setting things up and helping organize your trip. He drove us to his farm from the Masai Mara and following our stay drove us all the way to Diani Beach for a reasonable fee (about 1000km in total).

I had a lovely stay at Briton's place. The location was perfect, a simple and cute apartment that had all I needed. The view of Mt Kilimanjaro was spectacular!! If you're looking to site see in the area, Amboseli national park, Mt Kilimanjaro or visit the Kenya/Tanzania border, don't hesitate to book this unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Thomas' place. Clean, spacious and with lovely views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the rooms. We would have not managed to get to the property on our own from the main road but the host mentioned that well in advance and Samuel was incredibly helpful and met us at the junction and has us follow his bike to the property. We loved the bonfire in the evening. Amboseli National Park is about 27kms away from the home. Nice place overall for a quick getaway.
